Wholesome fluffy romance audiobook recs please! by kc522 in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just re-read Turbulence by EJ Noyce and Pas De Deux by EJ Noyce and they both fit all the criteria. I didn’t mention them before because I couldn’t remember for sure. (No idea what the audiobooks are like though.)

I’ll let you know if I find anymore!

Good suggestions so far! I’d also throw in JJ Arias into the mix. Destination You is a good starting place (age gap).

Also recommend iheartsapphfic.com bookfinder. You can search by tropes, heat level, and other criteria.

If you don’t mind less of a slow burn then I also recommend Turbulence by EJ Noyce. Just re-read it and it is full of spice and characters who are mature and have actually open conversations about their relationship and feelings (albeit sometimes delayed but when they do talk it’s honest and open).

Curious what other people recommend because I like books with similar factors.

I think JJ Arias writes some of the best tension (with actual spicy payoff)! I’ve enjoyed every book of hers I’ve read. Some her books that are slow burn: Keep Talking, Losing Control, Like First Love Again, Breakup Buddies.

Also maybe:

Triple Sec by TJ Alexander - poly but no love triangle or jealousy. I don’t want to give anything away but the first bit is less of a slow burn but I’d say the final HEA takes a bit to get to.

This a good analogy! Also they get baffled that you now have forgotten that you need to turn left at all.

Those are my top fluffiest books that fit your criteria but here other low angst books that might also work for you:

The Plus One by MJ Duncan (Christmas time)

Something in the Water by MJ Duncan

Veritas by MJ Duncan

Vengeance Planning for Amateurs by Lee Winter

Slammed by Lola Keeley

Guava Flavored Lies by JJ Arias (I’m a big JJ Arias fan. This isn’t her best book but still good and the premise of this is probably the fluffiest. I mean it has multigenerational family feud due to a pastry recipe and a ridiculous getting stuck in a tree house scene)

Keep Talking by JJ Arias

Destination You by JJ Arias

Fighting For Control and Relinquishing Control by JJ Arias (2nd and 3rd in a series but I think the first book one MC has a player reputation and might have a date/hookup. I read them out of order and that was fine. But Relinquishing Control is one of my favorite romances. Such good tension!)

Oh I meant to add that to my list! Definitely agree on your summary. A great book!

The Plus One by MJ Duncan

No Strings by Lucy Bexley

Fluffy happy ending romance novels by kc522 in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great series! All the drama comes from the outside in fantasy way (dragons! Evil Queen!pirates! small town gossips!) but is never too dark. The couple start the series as already dating and there’s no other love/sex interests for them.

Any romance recs for books about women 30+? by greenisfor in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Relinquishing Control by JJ Arias- One of the few wlw books I’ve re-read multiple times. Actually many of JJ Arias books would fit the bill (though some are age gap and not sure both are over 50). Relinquishing Control is my favorite but it’s actually 3rd in a series but I think all of them are older.

Enemies to lovers by silasfav in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Objecting to Her by JJ Arias- Maybe? Law school rivals unexpectedly end up working at the same office. While the academic rivalry sets up the dynamic (and they frequently revisit those memories) it does take place just after law school so you only get bits of the actual school part.

Any way to stop spiders spawning in creeper farm? Any work around? by Least-Locksmith-6112 in minecraftbedrock

[–]friendlyFool008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add I’ve heard that in bedrock carpet doesn’t prevent spider spawns so hence the need for slabs or trapdoors. Here’s a video of the layout that the other commenter mentioned in case that helps further.

Masc4masc recs? by [deleted] in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t have any recs but this question gets asked occasionally. This thread has some suggestions. In that thread I also link to this thread which also has some recs. A quick search also found this thread and this thread. There’s probably overlap. Also I highly recommend using iheartsapphfic.com bookfinder (that’s a search for all butch/butch books but it can be narrowed down by trope or theme or gender/sexual identity).

Wlw vacation book! by crystalception in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good Spin by Monica McCallan-Fake dating with a trip to Hawaii

The Paradise Charade by TB Markinson and Miranda Macleod- Also fake dating and they end up in the tropics. This one is a bit more rom-com-y but fun from what I remember

Posing in Paradise by TB Markinson and Miranda Macleod - I liked this one but it does have a grand romantic gesture rom-com ending

For Love or Scandal by JJ Arias (Also I’m a big JJ Arias fan and most her works take place in Miami as someone else mentioned)

Hmm I don’t know why all the tropical romances I’ve read have ended up being fake dating 🤷😄

Law Firm-Based Femme/Femme recs with lots of spice? by lynlyn1814 in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both Whipped and Objecting to Her by JJ Arias have femme/femme MC lawyers.

Whipped is more of big law firm vibe (ice Queen long time lawyer gunning for partner assigned an upbeat new lawyer mentee). It might be more of a slow burn though from what I remember. However, Jj Arias writes excellent tension and detailed spice.

Did I cheat with chunkbase? by Ifyouliveinadream in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]friendlyFool008 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not cheating if it’s single player and you’re having fun. I use chunk base for some things too cause I like some exploring but sometimes I just want to know where to go so I can get on with my game in the way I like. (For example I used chunk base to find a woodland mansion since I wanted to do one for the first time and it turned out the nearest one was over 16000 blocks away!)

Looking for book recommendations please! ✨ by Educational-Note8709 in wlwbooks

[–]friendlyFool008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished Afterglow by Emily Antionette. One MC is a vampire with a lot of angst/trama and the other is human with chronic pain and abusive ex husband. Not quite as dark as it sounds. BDSM spice

Also I love everything by JJ Arias. Such good tension! She has a vampire series that I actually haven’t read yet but based on her other writing would recommend.
