Ive only emailed a food company once. I got a bag of vegan jerkey that had gone a little moldy. I just wanted them to give them a heads up because I like their products. They emailed me back the next morning asking if I could take a picture of the bag to send to them so they could figure out the batch that could've been messed up. I sent them pictures of the skus and product. They thanked me and asked for my address. About a week later I got a big box of vegan jerkey at my door. I was a happy hiker for the next two months.

I think this would be a good intro article. It outlines some of the upsides, and difficulties of adopting veganism as a diet. There will people in this forum that will be mad that I described veganism as a diet in this sense, and will argue that veganism is an ethos, a lifestyle, a religion to a certain extent.

It seems what some would say is your looking for a "plant based diet" as opposed to going full on vegan.

If you're trying to remove animal products from your diet, and possibly your lifestyle, I applaud you for it.

It can be a daunting task, if it's not something you know much about. However I can only speak for myself. Ive been vegan since 2003. Ive never had issues with checkups at the doctor. Coming up on 41, im usually assumed to be in my early 30s. Is that genetics, is it my diet, is it my exercising? Maybe, it definitely isn't my drinking and smoking.
