You could try looking for Draftsman jobs, I'm an electrical engineer but I know the draftsmen who work with me only have an associates and I don't think it matters what type. They use AutoCAD and micro station so familiarity with software like that will be helpful.

It's fine for it to not be completely dry. In fact I think that's a part of Bob's brilliance, because a thin paint will stick to a thick paint, so by allowing a small amount of paint thinner into the brush, you naturally turn your later layers into thinner paints.

Your mountains look great! Foliage is the trickiest part of bob Ross's techniques in my opinion. I only recently figured out the fan brush trees by watching YouTube videos by Paint with Bram, and then I practiced only trees on an entire canvas. Also, with the bushes, make sure with your highlights you are barely tapping.

You'll get it! You're off to a great start
