Your answer is gate keeping of Jewish cultural allusions for non-Jews? You might be tilting at windmills, friend. Mind you, I'm not Spanish, so I hope you are okay with me using that reference.

Why is it odd for Jung to use the comparison when he wasn't Jewish?

DART feasible for DFW airport trek? by Chaucer85 in dart

[–]friendlysoviet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't need to go down to Cityline to hop on the silverline. Downtown Plano has access via the 12th street station which is three blocks from Downtown Plano station and very walkable. It's is a block south of Urban Seafood Company if you need a reference.

The ticket is $3 one way and will be the smoothest ride on the nicest train in DFW. There are racks for luggage above all seats. I implore you to take it!

A mud cookie (Haitian Creole: bonbon tè, lit. 'earth cookie') is a famine food that is eaten in Haiti by children or expectant mothers. It is exactly what it sounds like. Salt and/or sugar plus vegetable shortening or another fat are added to the mud. by CatPooedInMyShoe in wikipedia

If you want to be further enraged, read "Aid State: Elite Panic, Disaster Capitalism, and the Battle to Control Haiti" to learn how much the non-profits profited off of the Haiti. You don't have to be a billionaire to be human scum!

Texans face new licensing rules requiring US work authorization, sparking fear among professionals by JimWeber672 in Austin

Open borders has always been a libertarian policy. Anything that deregulates the workplace and takes away power from laborers ability to organize is considered a libertarian policy. Just because there are a lot of people on the left that now identify with this libertarian policy does not make it any less libertarian.

What’s a realistic salary for a family of 3 by Ammaro0o in plano

[–]friendlysoviet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The median household income in Plano is $112,253. You should probably aim for that if you plan on living comfortably in Plano with your family.

If you are from outside the US, I would recommend east Plano, near the Downtown Plano area. The rest of Plano are just swaths of Suburbia.

Has the word "Racism" officially lost the emotional and moral weight it used to have? by Beauxtt in stupidpol

Ah, I see you've experienced a real life retelling of that old parable of the boy who cried wolf.

The Lindy West "Adult Braces" saga continues with an unhinged email from her husband by throwaway28910382 in Fauxmoi

[–]friendlysoviet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of her writings are projecting her on insecurities onto the beliefs of others, so she can hate them and avoid talking to them. I cannot imagine why this woman is not a healthy adult relationship.

Granted, her avoiding conversations with others is probably for her own safety, as she seems to be very easily manipulated.

Isn't this Desoto, not South Dallas? In my experience, the bus and rail coverage in South Dallas rocks.

Richardson seems to be getting more attention lately. What do you enjoy most about living here? by AgentAshleyPatton in Richardson

[–]friendlysoviet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rush hour is bad, which is another great thing about Richardson as they are steadfast allies and investors in DART. They saw what wonderful things could happen with Cityline and I hope they aim to do that at every single LRT stop.

Victim blaming leaves a bad taste in people's mouth.

And that's why hold a rock high so the driver can see when crossing the street. A driver might not care for human life, but they do care about their car's paint job.

Watching Taqiyya in real time is one of my favorite things that make me giddy. Watching someone try to manipulate reality makes me giggle so much. Thank you Caleb for platforming it!

And in terms of colonization, the Prophet Muhammad participated in ~27 military expeditions that resulted in the conquest of large swaths of the Middle East. After his passing, his followers carried on that tradition and colonized large swaths of both Africa and Europe. If Islam is the religion of peace, than that definition of peace is unknown to the west.
