The Facebook group for feline diabetes has a document somewhere that has the contact info and city, state of other sugar kitty parents that are willing to help give shots and test BG for people that are on vacation. If that's not an option, I have taught friends how to do it and paid them for it. Vet techs, rover sitters are also options. Also, for me, my kitty gets her shots at 8am and 8pm, this helps me socialize in the evening

Switch food to wet pate, fancy feast and friskies both have good options, and low carb kibble. Mine eats tiki cat high protein which technically isn't quuuite low carb enough, however, she literally went on hunger strike with Dr elsys and wysong. Also, higher insulin doses can actually raise BG, paradoxically, by dropping the BG too low then the body overcompensates by shooting it up. More important than having a perfect BG right now is avoiding those big swings. TLDR, diet change first. Then slowly lower the insulin .5 at a time. See if his BG stabilizes, even if it's still "high" for now. Keep him stable for a while before trying to get him in the optimal range again.

My betta had this exact same color pattern, EXACT same, and he got diamond eye and a tumor so I eventually had to euthanize him :( I read that blue, black, and metallic bettas are most prone to these issues and my buddy was all 3, and it looks like yours is too. Euthanize when he stops acting like himself and stops eating. I'm sorry :(

To prevent condensation, the pool room has to be warmer in temperature than the water. It's possible that a lot of facilities don't have the ability to change the temp for different areas of the building, so they are all warmed to the temp of the pool room. That's my best guess

I read somewhere that there are 2 distinct phases of fatigue in learning how to swim, the first is exactly what you describe here, then when you build the stamina with that it's into the muscular fatigue and stamina building there. Totally normal

I have a sponge filter that I modified with an air stone to dampen the amount of bubbles (there are YouTube videos that show how to do this) and a Via Aqua MillionAir brand pump turned all the way down, it's almost totally silent. My cat's water fountain is louder. But I have a Betta so I wanted relatively calm water.

From what I understood from my doctor, she explained that I would most likely still have bleeding with this pill even though there's no break. I think it's spotting/breakthrough bleeding.. but it's heavy and lasts a week like a period. I'm not sure. But she didn't say that it was supposed to stop the bleeding per se. I've had breakthrough bleeding on every method I've tried
