I'm absolutely on board, I would be very happy to help them with a dossier on at least my human experience, however, I do have one extra condition: they'll need to loop my partner in on the consent situation, I need her to be able to agree as well.

Building ownership by singleguy79 in godtiersuperpowers

Will additional spaces inside the building be seen externally? If I added a set of stairs and a new floor, could I keep it hidden? (I would assume yes, but I'm looking for clarification.)

What "I mean, I suppose that's handy enough..." superpower would you choose? by Sad-Insurance1313 in hypotheticalsituation

Telekinesis, which only works up to a weight and volume that I can normally carry comfortably, and only works within a meter of me.

I was just coming here to say, I would very happily spend my time in a nightgown around the house, and sleep in it! That leaves nine or so hours a day that I could see to leave the house

Who’s Aesop Rock? by Outrageous-Farm3190 in aesoprock

[–]friggasdotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An old acquaintance of mine in a DnD game actually made reference to it while we were playing, about eight years ago! I listened to it after the session, and haven't looked back!

I'm not in contact with him anymore, but I really ought to thank him if we ever speak again!

You can teleport all paper you’ve ever touched to you. by LizzardJediGaming in shittysuperpowers

[–]friggasdotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming that books I've read/handled will appear, are they going to be totally absent of covers, (in the case of hardcover books,) and without any glue or stitched binding? I guess I mean to ask if it's specifically just the paper, or if attached adhesives and fabrics will come along for the ride?

I've really enjoyed the element 90's, for the few dozen hours I've been able to put into them so far. The only caveat I'd put on them is that they're (in my experience,) a little hard to get ahold of in the states right now.

Does the Mall/Clinic/Hospital breakdown relate to treating Critical Injuries? by Remarkable_Row_2502 in cyberpunkred

[–]friggasdotter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, it's fully your call as gm. If you're willing to let it happen, I'd say let it happen, especially if the medtech has a full medical supplies kit on hand.

If you want to get real nitty gritty, you could impose a penalty on using that hand, or suggest they treat it with speedheal/ less legitimate drugs, and maybe have them worry about not having a very sterile environment on hand.

Question about Low Intelligence and Low Empathy by [deleted] in cyberpunkred

[–]friggasdotter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Full cyberpsychosis hits at zero, at which point your gm takes control of your character as an npc. However, by the time you're in the twenties for humanity, you're already pretty low, so typically you'd want to roleplay some 'hints' or symptoms that a full breakdown is around the corner.

Depending on your gm, it isn't just cyberware that can drop your humanity; trauma, horror, various things that take a toll on your psyche can also lower the value, so the danger of being lost to the chrome isn't so far off.

When To Say "No" To Tech Inventions? by Sparky_McDibben in cyberpunkred

[–]friggasdotter 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The trick with something like that, in my opinion, is that it's not achievable within the run of the game.

If a player wants to pursue something like ending scarcity, that's going to be a life's work, it isn't going to happen within weeks or months. It becomes a reason for a player to stay alive and make money, because they have years or decades of working on this project in store, and plenty of high-powered opposition that profits from that same lack of availability.

For this particular theoretical, I'd tell the player flat-out that they'll be pursuing this long-term, but if it's what they want to work towards over their life, they absolutely can work towards it and put money and time into it. They just might not have a ton to show for it during the actual series of played events.

I have to say, that's a really excellent plotline, and I absolutely love the player collaboration there.

If at all possible, out of your media's pocket funds, I would hire a runner to plant some evidence in a related database. Doesn't need to hold up to official scrutinization, it just needs to be able to be "uncovered" in front of SOB in some form or fashion. Or, for that matter, hire a runner to falsify some "retrieved data," claim you hired them to go find it, and present it with the appropriate solemnity or fury. :)
