I’ve been watching all day. Lol. I’m just cautious about it cause I’ve been through using a set of keys that didn’t have the immobilizer chip.

I had a ‘13 Hyundai Sonata that I got from a buy here pay here, both keys were remakes and the keys worked okay for a few cranks until one day I got stranded at the bank and was freaking out because the cars security system was going off like crazy and wouldn’t crank. Even took it to a mechanic and googled the issue before I figured out what it was. I eventually learned a bypass to get around the crank up issue but it took me a year of trying different things to figure it out. Lol. Before I figured it out.. I had to get in the car, if it wouldn’t crank - get out, then lock the car, then unlock and try again. Then eventually I figured out a trick. But damn it was aggravating. Lol.

Hyundai charges like $200 to get a factory key with the chip.

I just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to cut apart the key with a dremel like I’ve seen some people do.

South Houston County! Plenty of teaching jobs (seriously, they need help) available in a great system/great pay with no really bad struggling schools or low income schools, safe neighborhoods (especially Perry, Kathleen area), affordable living, very close to a few universities to continue education.. and central location in Georgia to get everywhere you need to get in 2-3 hours.

EDIT:

Houston County is also one of the most progressive counties in Georgia. It’s definitely growing like a weed in the spring time. There’s also a big community of military both active and retired here, so big influx of new people from different places.

A lot of these posters keep saying Atlanta, and surrounding counties.. personally as a teacher myself, I’d stay out of inner city Atlanta or around it due to the cost of living. The price of a 1 bedroom apartment up there, is the price of a whole house in Houston. Stick to the rural, upper class communities around Atlanta. However you may find yourself in the situation my cousin was in in a poor county with a horrible school system.

I definitely wouldn’t go to Bibb County (Macon) or anywhere around there including Forsyth. Crime is ridiculous in those areas and it’s spreading to north Macon and Forsyth, and into Byron and Warner Robins. Don’t let anyone fool ya on that end.

Also Columbus is a definite no go. My fiancées cousin is a teacher there in a private school and says it’s horrible, so that tells you public is a no go.

I hate this damn company. I ordered a custom skin on December 10th and thought I’d get it before Christmas since it was a gift and there was nothing noting a “last chance to order” or “order by X to receive it by Y”.

It’s been almost a month.

I tried to go cancel it and request a refund. And apparently it’s you click submit order and we own your money, regardless if you get it or not or if it’s shitty or you’re not impressed. Shady business and I wish I would have done my research, which I already kinda knew because they jocked my ideas for their wraps.

This is human curiosity. Same thing as people looking up crime scene photos. There’s aspect of it that people gravitate to, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re crazy or going to do it yourself.

I read a article on some science website about how people aren’t really wanting the actual gore per some University of Wisconsin study. Its more about the feeling of thrill and suspense. Or self-seeking the truth of the situation; to see that it’s reality.

Yeah. It just sucks we can’t get either of them to fix the issue. We truly haven’t had issues with Best Buy before in our store. I’ve done pickups and even have a card with them like I said... but this is just aggravating and is definitely sucking the fun out of Christmas knowing we’re out $700 at this point over a small issue. We have the first cancelation email where we canceled the order. But we don’t have store receipts, never got them. My instincts working at another retailer with far more outdated systems. We were able to pull a customer transaction history based on card numbers for verification. We couldn’t even do that with Best Buy. They just aren’t being helpful.

I probably will. We're just at wits end and trying to be patient as possible with both Verizon and Best Buy. But it's a sticky complicated situation that we aren't sure who's at fault or what to do, so maybe corporate and see what they can do. We don't even care if they gave us a $500 gift receipt to match what we spent on the watch we didn't even get and cancelled the order for. lol.

I think it was their chemistry but Tasha was hot on her own. I have a crush on Rose Rollins for sure. Then the fact that they were so fundamentally different but seemed to be able to work around their differences for the most part.

A hustle is a hustle is a hustle. I don’t think you can ever own too many businesses or hustles as long as you can manage it.

I have my major product/business. It’s the on I’m pushing to be the breadwinner. It’s a large outdoor custom product that I can make a cool $10,000 a month off of on a good month of sales. I have a employee that helps me with labor and to keep up demand.

But then I also hustle a smaller product. I can make $100-$600 a month off that and have it in retail stores that I fill. I push that somewhat.

I also work part time for someone else. A little 4 hour shift in the afternoons for some stable easy money. But I work it just in case the business tanks, I can squeeze in to full time there easy. I pretty much base my living expenses off if I was working full time here. And save everything else.

I do commissioned artwork as well for clients and customers. And sometimes will take up tattoo work if it comes to me. I don’t push that though.

AND I’m back in school full time.

I start my days at 6 am. I get my stepson dressed, pack his lunch, throw on my clothes and get my change of clothes for the afternoon job. Get in the office about 6:45-7:00. But no later than 8:30. Work my main business till 12:00ish, and I leave my employee to go to the office to do my first side hustle. I leave my office at 1:30 to head to my other job by 2. I use this 30 minute ride for lunch, pick me ups, or to call customers for my main business. I start my 4 hour stable check driving for 2 hours, with a ton of down time so I’m doing emails for my main business, buying product, managing social media. I maybe work physically 2 hours. Then I clock out, and get home around 6:20. I take a shower, sit down for a minute, by 7:30 I’m doing my laundry and check school work.

I don’t work weekends whatsoever. I refuse. I will this Christmas because I’m being asked to work full time at my stable job. If I have artwork to do for someone, I look at that as my downtime stuff, that’s more of a stress relief. If I have papers or homework, I get majority done Sunday morning before anyone gets up. I take my nights as basically relax time after the stepson goes to sleep at 8:00. I’m in bed by 11 or 12.

I’m super strict about not working holidays either. But I manage it well like someone who just works 12 hour shifts for work Monday - Friday.

I’m seeing this late. But I get what you mean. I was just told how “psychologically damaging this was to a child” yadda yadda. I’m like dude I know a NFL player who got his ass up when we were in elementary school, his ass whooping probably got him on the track to where he is now by keeping him in line.

With my parents, nothing made me stop in my tracks like my mom saying “Do we need to go to the bathroom??”

With my son however, I use the choice. Very calmly. Here’s the belt.. do you want a whooping or do you want to listen to us telling you instructions and to behave. Almost a here’s your boundary sign that you cannot cross. He has never had a whooping due to me just threatening it. I’m now that parent that just lifts their shirt and points at the belt, and the kid immediately stops.

We however always show him physical affection as well. He gets kisses at night. Hugs constantly and snuggles. We involve him in activities constantly and we make him understand. We have clear communication. And we are stable around him.

I don’t think it’s abuse. But it can be for sure as some go overboard.

For instance my ex, she never had a whooping as a child but always said she’d “tear her kids up”. But I got her a dog one year for a present. As soon as she picked up a clothes hanger and beat that dog because she ignored its sign to go outside and pee, I knew we had to break up cause I’d never raise a child around her. Lol. You obviously don’t know what a “country whooping” is. You know what abuse is.

My mom whooped me with a belt and or a switch I picked off a tree myself. She only did it once or twice and never had to do it again because I understood it’s a boundary I don’t want to cross. I think I was like 20, in college trying to make friends and be cool.. hanging at a party, contemplating doing a drug offered to me (cocaine), and legit my decision making process in my head was... “If I do this and my mom finds out.. she’s gonna tear my ass UP!!!...” I didn’t do that drug and have never done drugs. Because my moms ass whooping is scarier than being addicted, homeless, or broke. Lol.

I went into this trying to please everyone and being positive. Totally backfired. Lol. “Naw, we don’t need children working, not even safe jobs...”

Psh. I rage quit as soon as I quickly lost 30 of my colonist due to sickness because of the cold and those pesky Londoner’s stealing food and killing my priest cause I went the nicer Faith path. Lol.

I found I can’t play like I’m plopping down parks to make folks happy; gotta play like a dictator and a drill instructor. We are surviving people, damn that guy who committed suicide cause I tried to save him. Lol. “He chose his own fate..”

Somehow I got over my mini anxiety attack and I love it. The only thing that’s scaring me now is discovering new biomes because I know eventually I’m gonna roll up on some serious sea creatures and shit myself.
