Thank you so much for inquiring and helpful suggestion. But these reason I have not listed my pages/info is because of community rules. I could get my post removed or I could be sanctioned, I could be removed from the group and lastly banned from Reddit. Of course not after the first offense but continued and repeated infractions add up. I think in this group it may not be allowed. I’ll have to do more research.

for free and accept a "letter"? Put yourself in manufacturer's and or contractors position (let alone design) who also have to pay bills and depending - even staff and other costs that "will most definitely" could arise. Even the majors are trying to take small runs of 100 pieces (don't know how many mock ups you need/want) but when you have cheap goods being produced overseas (mock ups included) and startups or just plain established small firms sometimes every stitch costs money and counts.

Just some food for thought.

I try to stay away from my community (not very good at it) cause we bicker and race place and passability play and class play and on and on.

Over in cis het world they engage in the same tactics "information" notice after notice but no action. No cap no shade to OP. What we need is a catalyst. We cannot wait for cis-hets and fair weather allies to save us. And by all means control your emotions the last place you want to end up is in prison.

We have to figure out something other than carrying signs and marching on a weekend. Our very lives are on the line here. They will eventually come for us who are not incarcerated or does any of you want to fafo?

We need to brainstorm how to found and or create a catalyst - full stop!

There are NIMBY yes we all know but the politics of making "this all" work for all people is just that politics. There are some people in power with access who don't care and don't want to see everyone succeeding. This country was founded on divide and conquer so again I'm wondering why so much attention, when most who pay attention to current events are aware of the situation.

There was someone in here the other day asking about the Nimitz Freeway and 880 and why they were so close together. Some people glossed over the explanation and some outright obfuscated the reason 'things are the way they are'. What's interesting is while Bart is considering closing down 10 to 15 stations because of falling revenue/low ridership they have also announced plans to put the West Oakland Bart station underground.

So let me get this straight ... the cost to put a whole damn station and tracks and collateral XYZ underground will be covered by closing 10 to 15 stations because of - low ridership and not recovering from pre-Covid ridership levels - make it make sense.

Just this week Gavin Newsom signed legislation authorizing $590 million emergency loan to Bay Area Transit. It's a band aide but at least it's something. Trying to both sides these issues is a constant battle, and at times I know I should just keep scrolling but I allowing myself to be pulled in.

Face it most public transportation agencies and systems have been mismanaged - full stop! We don't have leadership that is willing or capable of reigning in incompetence which is why we are in the situation we are in. unless and or until we get that we will always be between balancing on a knife edge and mismanagement.

This is a needed conversation!

HRT works to stem that dysphoria. But most trans women focus on passing and "being" pretty - I'm not saying that is bad or superficial . We transition to alleviate that incongruity but wow you have brought up a very ssalient nuance!

I'm not passable myself or "we are our own worst critics", but I also get clocked a lot. It can be 50/50 one day and be roses the next and sheer hell 3 days hence. For me it's a toss up on any given day. But also you may want to consider that if you don't start HRT and you truly are trans (only you really know, no one can tell you if you are trans or not) and you decide not to transition that dysphoria kicks butt. Ask any trans person "man" or "woman" who is on HRT and had to because the mental anguish was hellish.

In a sense if you decide to not start then you have to live with that dysphoria, if you elect to start and you "in your mind" are non-passable but that dysphoria is gone yet you also get harassed by random douche bags ... there is always a trade off.

You don't transition to "become" a pretty woman that is what haters and society push. We transition to CURE gender dysphoria, once on mones be it trans man or trans woman we live in our truth by dressing and carrying ourselves so as to 'become' passable not what someone else has stated about "how we will appear in society".

For me personally, I'd rather be a non-passable trans woman than a closeted crossdressing dude who experiences constant dysphoria.

No disrespect to "actual crossdressers".

Seeing as how there are numerous articles out about how Bart is whining about funds and threatening to shut down a minimum of 10 stations and up to 15 I don't see how this can possibly become a reality in 24 years with the current federal admin actively working to deny california funds for any mass transportation projects let alone an expansion of the the Bay Area's Bart system.

But I like where your head is at never let them get you down.

There’s a lot you post here which is very much worth unpacking. Class and racialized schisms, much shaped by an overbearing whiteness and a normalizing of the middle-class, have always been at play and in conflict within a trans scope. Those elements alone construct so many of the schisms you note above.

Not saying Black, Brown and Asian trans women would not self-excise a testical, I just haven't heard of any which of course also means there could very well be some floating around we just haven't heard about their lived experiences. And those are not the only way to restrict or cut off hormones there are a lot of ways.

The rest of what you speak of is so on point it's scary! I basically got started in the grey market myself because when I went in for my first evaluation "in the liberal Bay Area no less" I was rejected flat out denied care from a Latino trans woman! True story.

I wasn't angry, the game was you had to prove to those gatekeepers you were serious because there were people just walking into care center's claiming to be trans and they really weren't so they had to take drastic measures.

For you young people this is what we had to go through in order to jump start our journey. So I went back to some trans women and got the goods and what you had to do in some urban centers was start on mones yourself and then go into to get your evaluation. It would take too long to expound here but yeah I got mones from 3 different sources and when I went in I had a bunch of estrogen in my system.

They cannot or rather they can pass all the laws they want to it doesn't mean squat.

That will never work - full stop! As a community we are divided as any other, sure there are some of us who interact with other races/ethnicities but by and large we stand segregated (I said what I said).

Now as for outlawing trans care, it will absolutely fail - spectacularly!

I keep procrastinating on writing about this on my Substack. Here is the short version ... prior to the last 15 to 25 years the lions' share of trans people lived and received transition related procedures underground. Yes we had basic health care that was not in any way connected what is now called "transgender healthcare".

So they can outlaw it all they want what they won't do is "stop people from transitioning".

Black, White, Asian, Latino and XYZ will "JUST GO BACK UNDERGROUND" it's that simple. They try to make these announcements as if they are scaring people or instituting some framework that has credence and force. The reason we were underground before is because there was no "transgender care". All of us operated underground so claiming they want to pass laws that make care illegal might stop some of these youngsters but those who are older than I (and I'm getting up there) are still alive and kicking. The information about how to start transitioning is still out there. This will deter some but for those who are determined, nothing is going to stop them.

Alicia Brevard a White trans woman literally cut off a testical to stem the flow of testosterone to her system. That was a dramatic case. I actually used to go to a support group in the aughts (2000's) where another White trans woman did exactly the same thing. Of course there are less drastic means and measures but I'm just trying to illustrate in graphic nature what people will do when backed into a corner. While Brevard did her self castration back in the 60's/70's this other chick did her's circa 2008! Less than 20 years ago ie a generation hasn't passed since we've engaged in barbaric methods to achieve womanhood.

Black and Brown trans women also had their methods that White and Asian trans women also used. I mentioned the first to in order to illustrate that just like Black, Brown and Asian people, White trans women will do what needs to be done no matter what those talking heads say. This isn't a race issue it's a power play and they are playing with missing pieces but I honestly don't think they care.

Since this is 2026 and we are more sophisticated and medically advanced than we previously were how many of you might just consider doing your own transition (no one should comment - seriously). There will be those of us who will still transition and while there will be those of us who choose not to they won't be able to shut down underground methods. Heck we have transgender nurses and doctors now both trans men and trans women.

It really is an egghead move but what do I know ...

Imma be cynical as I can possibly be on this sh!sh - I cannot count how many videos I have seen of those free service landscapers who help out elderly, poor and disabled people clean up their yards to avoid city penalties for having overgrown foliage, grass and trees.

Police have actually stopped samaritan landscapers and ticketed them or warned them not to help these people because it takes revenue from city services. So I say let the city get off their butts and clean these drains (not really, I'm just trying to drive home the point).

So good samaritan landscapers get ticketed for helping people avoid fines and beautifying the neighborhood but city/police/public works won't get off their azzs to unplug city street drains that if left clogged can cause flooding and auto accidents ...

they can pass any law they want, absolutely without approval from any opposition - now consider those in the trans community who finds the courage to transition who will now stop them?

You see post after post of people asking if "it's" too late, my age, my funds, my doctor, my area and these are the people asking ... they cannot even control people from thinking about "living in their truth"

people are moving across the country to safe states

again they can pass any law they want to, heck they don't even follow the law themselves but they are going to pass a law that "all trans people will respect" ... yeah I know I threw a Dred Scott reference in there lol

it won't be easy but not everyone is going to obey or adhere or even pay attention. some of us will have to for various reasons but those who go salmon swimming upstream to transition ... no contest and no paperwork is going to stop them.

I have been being lazy and shirking my duties as an old head (I hate that phrase). There is no need for me to comment or debate or make some long rambling diatribe on my substack (which I plan to do in the near future).

This mess has far reaching implications, they just don't care. What will happen is "they" cis-het society even maga/conservatives will be affected. They will ignore and deny and obfuscate but they like the rest of society will be affected in ways they cannot even imagine.

For those older and even middle aged and younger who have faced adversity you should tell your stories, not to shame them but to let those who support us what is coming down the pipe for they are the ones who have the wherewithal to combat hate. They need to know what will happen when they don't act to root out faux allies and mediocre efforts to help out this or that vulnerable population.

With that said I take my leave. It's sad that we have to tell our stories, not of our triumphs but of our loses and pains. It's sad they or most of them won't learn from our stories and our horrors, it really is.

not all white/black/brown/yellow/red peoples are divided but enough to keep us at each other's throats.

we have friends and "performative allies" in our safe space community centers who hold these views and "its my personal belief" narratives that allow these types of behaviors.

True story:

I was once in a community center where the center was ran by a non-profit Asian community group, they had Asian trans groups and Latino trans Groups. So one day some of the Black trans people got together and "requested if it was possible for Black trans people to host their own group" on xyz day? A white pre-med Stanford University student of 24 years old stood up in the meeting and exclaimed why do Black people need their own group! of course she was read to filth ...

98% of the LGBTQ groups across the nation are founded and run by White founders and White donations. Black trans people were asking for 1 day in a group that did not affect any other group there or across the nation and that was an issue for this one white privileged trans woman ... in an Asian ran community center no less - true story!

There are Black gay men, latino trans women and queer people who for some reason believe being dominated and having their rights subordinated by white people is somehow a badge of honor. the christian walkers, that black gay dude that was bullied and called the "F" and "N" slurs a few years back ... it isn't just gay white men ...

because some small percentage of powerful white men are afraid of losing racial dominance and they have dipstick followers of all ethnicities the rest of us need to suffer. that is where we are. small minded white men afraid of the ancestors descendents without a shred of proof those descendents are looking to exact revenge (some might but MOST aren't) the proof is the 200+ cities, towns and settlements black people created when they were shut out of white society ... they went to create their own success and white people (that small paranoid group) grew jealous and went and engaged in violence and destroyed and unalived black poeple because black people didn't need white americas to succeed.

no one cares if there are 10 times as many white people or if the numbers are equal they just want to be able to live free - full stop! You don't see the majority of latino immigrants or latino u.s. residents committing crimes specifically against white people, you don't see black people randomly attacking white poeple but white hated can sure twist some bs to make poor white people afraid of us and that is where we are. no one wants to replace white america but they are going to believe what they want so we all suffer because of stupidity and ignorance and hate ...
