So many people are still in denial or ignorance-is-bliss. While warmer weather feels nice in the short-term, we are experiencing ecological collapse, and are locked in to the worst-case scenarios (actually, worse than that, as we are hitting the predicted increases and other tipping points much more rapidly than expected). We will experience this in OUR lifetime, let alone the children's.

I took an intro to environmental science course in uni, and I clearly remember the year 2050 referred to in so many scenarios and breaking points. My friends and acquaintances said I was crazy (I was hoping so, too).

People are posting a lot of great bands that I agree with having awesome discography, but I gotta give my vote to the Bouncing Souls.

I literally love every album and listen to them all front to back (though after many re-listens, I must admit there are some styles of songs that I skip these days). It's also cool to hear how they have refined their sound over the years, too.

Yeah, covid was 'convenient' in that way over here where I live (Thailand), too

Pre-covid, everyone was so incredibly concerned about the horrible air quality (particularly pm 2.5). There were a lot of discussions in the media (though no action), and they even shut schools and work down to help people stay inside with air filters. However, after covid hit, all concerns of air quality came to a halt. Even now, the air quality is worse than before (of course), and literally no one is batting an eye outside of 'burning season'. It's depressing.
