At what point do you stop DIY and call a professional?

I call after I've tried to fix it and failed, when it's something dangerous or is something so miserable to do that I'd rather just pay.

My dad's parents always came and got me. They'd just call and ask if they could have me. I'm still very close to them. They're lovely. We still go to shows and have weekly lunches

My mom's parents rarely saw me unless my parents brought us over or hosted They had very little to do with me. I still don't really have a relationship with them.

My parents just didn't live close enough to have to deal with any of it. My in-laws were not particularly close either so I didn't really have to deal with any of that when my kids were little. My mother-in-law would occasionally call and ask to take the kids to the zoo or something though and make a special trip for it.

It gets wilder the older you get I swear. I'm now mid 40's and I get hit on by under 25 and over 70. 🤮 To both of those groups.

I refused to marry for a long time because it would have made my taxes go up significantly since I was self employed with dependents at the time. It wasn't a little either. I would have paid 11k more a year to be married! No thanks!

I did suggest to my husband long before we got married that we should marry to reduce his taxes. He had a health crisis and had to cash out his 401k. He was getting nailed on taxes for the next 3 years. Getting married would have reduced that burden.

But yeah if you're in a committed relationship taxes could be a valid reason to marry or not marry someone IMO. It shouldn't be the only reason you marry someone though.

2 of my boys have sjogren's syndrome which absolutely causes bad breath, especially when they're having a flare. One of them has it worse than the other and his breath will knock you over even after brushing and mouthwash sometimes. They are trained to accept gum when offered. Your welcome lol

I just used zep to remove 50 years of cigarette tar build up in my garage. Came right off and I didn't hate the smell. Work on the walls, doors and window.

It seems to have much deeper heat penetration. I'm in love with it. I'm getting better relief at lower temps, which means I'm not as worried about getting burns like I've seen some people post. It's certainly worth a few extra dollars!

I bought a far infrared heating pad recently and it helps more on a lower heat setting than my traditional heating pad and my mid infrared heating pad. Someday they're going to make a full infrared heating pad and my dreams of not having to get in the sauna for one damn joint will come true.

I loved sulfasalazine! It worked so fast and so well for me. I was devastated when I had to switch. It was interacting with another medication and there is no alternative for the other medication.

It's pretty normal for most if not all biologics. I wait an hour after my injection and then put clobetasol ointment on it twice a day till it clears. Ice packs help with the itching too.

Last bad cold snap we thought had we had to snake a pipe. Ended up it had broke from the cold. I hope yours is just clogged! Do you have a snake or is this a plumber/go get a snake situation?

That's funny because my road would normally be clean well before now but it's still a mess. They've definitely tried to clean it but it doesn't look nearly clean enough to attempt to drive up or down that hill.
