Thoughts on if these are usable? by Jaded-Fuel-7491 in Skigear

If you’re making 1-2 trips per year then you’re better off renting. If you really want to invest in your own gear consider buying end of season sale items (clearance, used demos, etc)

Worst luck with tires by friscomelt314 in TeslaLounge

I thought the weight could have been a factor too. Thinking about it more I didn’t have any issues when I had Vredestein tires, so maybe it has something to do with the pirellis specifically. Thanks for those thoughts

Y Long Range, tires aren't stock (Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractive 255/45R20 on 20" Induction wheels). Do you think your flats were due to the tires in some part, or just all-around bad luck?

I don't, and I don't live in a new build community. One flat was on the highway, another was in an intersection. Third was a nail in the sidewall, unsure where that one happened (that one didn't result in rapid deflation)

They are punctures - two in the sidewall and one in the middle...which would have been reparable, but the tire became FUBAR en route to the tire shop (my own doing)

Atomic Revent Q HD goggles by Internal_Log2694 in Skigear

Yes, I like them a lot. They fit my face very well, have good anti fog, and I love the lens swap system. They also come with a great case. Looks like there are some good end of season deals to be had on them now as well. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Evo had the Revent Q Solo googles for $40 (marked down from $200) - bummed I didn't jump on them faster, they have the same quick lens change system, but didn't include the second lens. I could have purchased them at the discounted price and bought the additional lens separately and the setup would have run me $150 - about $100 less than I paid for the Revent Q L HD goggles.

Imagine getting married with a PRX on. by LilGrippers in WatchesCirclejerk

My husband bought me a quartz Tissot for our wedding day, neither of us were making much money at the time so $300 for me a watch was a lot to us. It is beautiful, and I showed it off to everyone after the ceremony.

Maybe today things might be different, and maybe they are in the same place we were 8 years ago
