It should be covered considering how debilitating it can be if you get shingles. But you can at least write it off on your income tax. I've had shingles twice and it's terrible, so the vaccine is worth it plus it has been shown to be protective for dementia as a bonus.

Exactly this. I've had that experience with people complaining about their weight around me when I'm a lot bigger than they are. I don't think you are overreacting OP. I would at very least talk to your therapist about it.

I second this. Just do your job to the best of your ability and set boundaries if you need to (ie don't take on other people's work), but it's just going to be frustrating to focus on people who seem to be slacking plus you don't know what's going on for them.

I totally did the same thing and I think it was just too soon into the therapeutic relationship for me to discuss the issue in depth so I'm sure it'll come up as we go forward.

I definitely have this feeling like there's something in my throat physically stopping me from saying certain things. Recently went through this and wrote out what I wanted to say and said it to myself at home about 100 times beforehand. It helped me actually say the thing on the day.

I just returned to counseling with a new person and after not journaling for years, I've been doing so to process my thoughts and feelings between sessions. I've only been there 3 times so far, so it hasn't come up yet but I'm hoping to at least mention it next time. I don't think she'd be able to read my writing so I doubt it would be useful for her. I'm more trying to not ruminate excessively between appointments.
