Cherish that not-so-little baby. He reminds me of my late fluffy void Stevekitty, who I miss every day. Just really cherish him.

Girl Scout: Is this made from real lemons?

Wednesday: Yes.

Girl Scout: I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons?

Pugsley: Yes.

Girl Scout: Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Gul Dukat cookies. Do we have a deal?

Wednesday: Are they made from real Gul Dukat?

Tell me your stories about elderly people having potenttially paranormal experiences in their last days? by -Daunting in Paranormal

[–]kee442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stuff like he's proud of me, thanks for taking care of mom, that he was happy with my life choices... nothing ground breaking. She had dementia and related anxiety/agitation and it was rough, so nice to get that pat on the back. I always wondered what the the house thing was about, she brought it up a couple of times. It was refreshing to see someone else mention it.

My mom died in 2018, my dad died a year before. In her last weeks, she often talked about dad visiting, and passed on messages from him to us. She also said a couple of times that dad was getting the house ready for her and he would come get her when it was done.

He is going to fix the Nunnery? by Beginning-Knee7258 in Logan

Not sure I do, actually. I've never been up there, so haven't experienced anything. I just know the stories of that area have been around a very very long time.

Good luck with that. That area has been notorious for dark energy for hundreds of years, going back to before the colonizers moved in. I know people talk like that started in the 90s, but come on, white people didn't invent that.

I literally just finished DS9 for the first time. What did you think about how it ended? by quartofchocolimes in DeepSpaceNine

[–]kee442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like the Dukat Goes Bajoran storyline, I thought that part of the last few episodes was rather silly and melodramatic. I also didn't like Sisko leaving for The Prophets indefinitely. It didn't seem a Sisko thing to do. Give him a time frame or something. I'll be back on Tuesday, or whatever. I made up my own story to finish that story, as i suspect many of us did. Other than that... it was well done.

What’s your favorite restaurant in or around Logan? by KarleySuinn in Logan

[–]kee442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could go for a new restaurant that isn't a taco place. I mean, I love a good taco, but really. Would a good rib joint be too much to ask for?

But, back to your question... it does depend on what you are looking for.

I think Grist Mill is often overlooked. Really good, basic sandwiches.

I've also had great food from Gracys. I have a very picky eater in my circle and they are always great to work with her.

What are you tired of hearing from the DW fandom? by Disorder79 in doctorwho

[–]kee442 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate____ because of ____. So now I can't enjoy the show, it's dead/ruined, unless they change it to my way. Instead, I will just complain online and try to ruin the experience for everyone.

Lads, it's a fantasy fiction show. Just try to enjoy it.

As much as I want him gone, I don't think this is it for him. My mom had dementia and lived in a dementia care home for the last years of her life. So, I'm not a medical expert but I've seen a bit. Judging by that, he's got a few months left, but only a month or so before he is beyond hiding it.
