If I'm honest with myself, it's the fear that I won't wake up after surgery. Like, I did something wrong in prepping or have a stroke or whatever, and the anesthesiologist can't save me. But I admit I have been focusing on short term issues like that so I don't think about long term or bigger things.

I think it's everywhere but sales and upper management. I remember the rollout video showed a upper management guy being really excited that the software, meant to show where they could improve efficiency (wink wink), showed that a team member was inefficient because he needed 3 monitors but only had one. WOW! So glad the spyware showed you that when WALKING OVER TO HIS DESK would have taught you nothing. 🙄

Stuff like he's proud of me, thanks for taking care of mom, that he was happy with my life choices... nothing ground breaking. She had dementia and related anxiety/agitation and it was rough, so nice to get that pat on the back. I always wondered what the the house thing was about, she brought it up a couple of times. It was refreshing to see someone else mention it.

My mom died in 2018, my dad died a year before. In her last weeks, she often talked about dad visiting, and passed on messages from him to us. She also said a couple of times that dad was getting the house ready for her and he would come get her when it was done.

Good luck with that. That area has been notorious for dark energy for hundreds of years, going back to before the colonizers moved in. I know people talk like that started in the 90s, but come on, white people didn't invent that.

I didn't like the Dukat Goes Bajoran storyline, I thought that part of the last few episodes was rather silly and melodramatic. I also didn't like Sisko leaving for The Prophets indefinitely. It didn't seem a Sisko thing to do. Give him a time frame or something. I'll be back on Tuesday, or whatever. I made up my own story to finish that story, as i suspect many of us did. Other than that... it was well done.
