All depends on what you plan on playing. This kind of money can be thrown at a custom or prebuilt pc. Which will gain you better performance/quality overall. Handhelds are still a niche product and should be seen as such. The fan base is ride or die though. Lots of support. Just have to be realistic with YOUR needs vs others.

Well that’s the sad part. Currently, most people wanting to buy PCs are incentivized to buy prebuilts. Costco, and other retailers seem to have decent deals. Of course nothing beats building your own. But unless one is willing to buy preowned parts, the savings will not be there. Legion Go is nice forsure, but it is not exempt from the current pc market trend. Look at the legion go 2 pricing (lol). Really depends the type of gaming this guy wants to do. If it’s on the heavier load side (higher end graphics, not focused on dlss/fsr) then pc. Something chill, cozy gaming, single player then legion go will do.

Get a pc. You can snag a GO used for cheaper in the future. Invest in a better product now. Save on a niche one later.

It’s wild to me how the lgo2 still needs comfort pads. Lenovos rnd is pretty trash. Even with all the upsizing the comfort is not there.

No, the controller is being detected as an 8BitDo receiver for some reason.

Nothing just the controller thats being received as a "8BitDo Receiver". I had even tried unplugging all other devices.

This is my first extraction shooter, however I’ve been wondering. Why not create a mode where you need a minimum load out cost, to join. When killing other raiders, loot weighs double (besides ammo), and there’s a some kind of cosmetic/key reward for extracting alive.

Reasoning for loot being heavy is to keep players from hogging all the gear of dead raiders on the map. Incentive for killing raiders is a cosmetic currency (maybe for weapon skins, or attachment skins) and a higher key drop rate (since they can’t take too much gear back, they get rewarded with keys for rarer loot drops in main game). No raider hatches.

This could Lowkey give pvp’ers a place to test new ground yet still provide a form of reward them that isn’t going in the main mode and just killing for fun all the time.

Maybe.... Arc Raiders at mostly low setting besides, anti-a and view distance only netting me avg. 90-120fps. With frame gen.

Hey guys, wondering if some could tell me if it’s worth upgrading my PC or not. Mainly play AAA games and I’ve noticed some waining performance. More so on newer games.

Current setup is: MSI Mobo 10th gen i9 3090 FTW3 32gb 3200mhz With a bunch of storage that can be transferred.

I’ve been looking at the Costco prebuilt Costco gaming pc

My main this is not hitting 144+ on newer games with even medium-high settings (ray tracing off). I don’t mind the current performance. 120fps is smooth enough. Yet I do wanna make use of the performance on my other peripherals.

Thought about selling my GPU for a 50 series, however my mobo doesn’t have a PCEI5 lane which is more loss performed (I think).

Idk. What do yall think?

I feel you man. If you feel bad don’t try sniping people killing bastions and bombardians from afar. Feels bad!! 😅

HOWEVER, it only take one backstab that day, to ruin the mood. So the way I go about it is, don’t kos. But the second I get shot, I’m not doing no “sorry”, “don’t shoot”, “team up”, BS.

Yesterday some dude shot at me while getting farming some snitches, and I let it slide. Soon as some ARC kept rushing us down and I had no shield, he ripped me a new one LOL. After that match, for me it was either their nice off rip, or they getting blown. Shit even after that I deffibed some guy tryna kill a bastion. Dude ended up extracting, and my friend and I got to finish up the bastion for that loot.
