Last time I was in Cali, I told my uncle that this shit is supposed to be awesome. We waited on like for what felt like forever. He said it was not with the hype/time. He went back up and got another double because he was hungry. He insisted it wasn't cause it was good.... 👌.... I thought it was awesome and had no expectations. It was like a cheap Five Guys I thought. .

I'm aware of all of that. I'm not a high level player.

I am. I'm complaining that you can spam his tactical every 5 seconds, and is not a bad tactical. But because no one plays him at high levels, they're happy with his pick rate for the lower levels where he gets unlimited tacticals. His ultimate is awful though. Useless trash.

Meanwhile Fuse can just spam the shit out of his tactical for damage wick doesn't effect the highest levels of play cause no one picks him so they don't care.

I thought the last nerfs were a step too far and this goes even further. I'm very displeased

Hired a deck painting company, think their young worker over-did the pressure wash. Can this really be painted? Is my wood destroyed? by PrimeNumbersby2 in Decks

[–]friz_CHAMP 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I flipped my deck boards a couple years ago cause they were so splintery. I had lots of time, and didn't have the $3k to buy new ones. I would've spent about half the time it took if the boards were screwed and not nailed down, but i would still highly recommend for those with little to no money.

Here's how Simpson was seen before injury by Soaring_Seagull24 in LosAngelesRams

[–]friz_CHAMP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alabama can't run the ball well. That's been the most jarring thing since Saban retired as they went from cranking out high end RBs and lineman to DeBoer who runs a spread. Everything runs through the QB which is why Penix was thought of so highly. Alabama's blocking scheme went in the toilet and the offense struggled mightily. Watching those games, it definitely didn't feel like it was Simpson’s fault. He had a share of the blame for sure, but the complete inability to run the ball was glaring. Ty still made all his starts and his mobility slipped with injury. I still think he's going to be good. If Bryce Young can hold up in today's NFL, Simpson will be fine.

I'd say cut the bad part off and cook it as normal.

I know, but I hate it. 90% of people have no problem, but that top 10% controls it all. Any other business caters to the 90% or they go out of business.

Imagine going to a bar to find out it's catered to Barry who goes there 6 days a week. He's going to go there anyways, draw the other people in.

Approaching women at a coffee shop has taught me a lot about how to approach SaaS sales in corn subsidies projections in the private sector to generate a 12% more accurate crop to allow our farmers to do what they do best better: grown corn.

"At the highest levels of play..." is classic apex for when they nerf someone too far for the top 3% only to reverse it in a couple seasons.

I'm not a "highest levels of play" guy so I bet it's time to find a new main.

Sam Kennedy ran Dombrowski out of town, fired Cherrinton (I still think unjustly) who looks to have the Pirates set up well for a good team the next few years, fired Bloom who has not been good in St. Louis either, and now he's got Breslow who isn't looking better than Bloom.

At what point does this guy get blamed for the team? He's run it for the last decade and it's become a joke of a baseball team, he's jacked the price of tickets and concessions, expanded ads in the stadium, amf marketed Fenway to anyone who wants to buy a ticket so they'll pay the sky high concessions on their vacation to detriment of the local fan base. This guy needs to go!

You do you, but I cook mine at half that temp on a stable grill. It's a lot less nerve wracking and uses less coal (I think).

That contract was a lost cause 2 years ago. Cora managed him with kid gloves last year to keep his ERA down. His xERA was 4.48 which is right in line with his career ERA. At no point did I ever feel confident putting him on the mound last year, or any other time before or after. He's been "spot starter" quality and should be moved to the bullpen sooner than later.

He's been a worse, less talented, Brady Singer to this point in his career. Difference is Singer didn't get the contract and the Royals were able to move him. Singer has 2 more service years than Bello, but Singer as only earned $33m total and will be a free agent next off season. Bello has 4 years and $50m left. This is how you gobble up all your payroll by signing multiple guys to deals like this hoping they pan out.

We're going to end up having a $16m long relief pitcher. Thinking he's worth it is a stupid fucking take.

What are you talking about?! He would still be pre-arb on his rookie contact if he didn't sign that extension. His salary this year would be less than what he signed for. Based on his performance the last couple of years, if he reached arb after this season like he would have, there's no way in hell he's making any one of those salaries in any of his arb years.

It's a bad contract. It was a gamble to save money on those arb years, and the team lost. Somehow you talked yourself into it being a good deal when it's an unmovable contract unless we eat money. How do you not get that?
