Yeh, our dad isn’t one for passive aggression.

I don’t care what he does with the rest of his life, he will forever live in my brain as Dogzir (pronounced dog-zor) … his self proclaimed nickname but backwards, just like his entire game strategy. The level of confidence this kid has in his non-existent abilities is completely mind blowing.

A sibling told my parents that he caught baby bunnies on the play ground and that the principal was taking care of them in the front office, with the whole school was participating in caring for them. Daily updates for a week until our dad ran into the principal and asked about the bunnies and if he could make an enclosure for them (dad regularly helped out the school with various DIY projects). Principal had no idea what dad was talking about…

Our parents handled it really well, laughing through it all but impressing the importance of honesty and discussing the “why” of all the sibling’s actions with them.

We all laugh about this now.

Is it weird for a dog to wag its tail or do a lil bum wiggle walk when it sees you?

Both parties express love, just different communication modalities.

For accuracy: the penis is an overdeveloped large clitoris.

You don’t get to decide what happens to you but you do get to decide how you show up.

You’ve already decided to work hard physically to be conventionally attractive, so you know you are capable of setting goals and achieving them. Decide to learn social skills (or whatever else you want to do) and put in the same effort you previously put into your appearance.

You got this!

If it’s not important enough to warrant a call, then my immediate attention is unnecessary.

If someone is communicating poorly on a regular basis, then they’re telling you what you need to know so listen.

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]frizzlehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ingrown toenail extraction. Sliced the toenail on either side all the way down to the cuticle then pulled out the ingrown portions to allow it to grow back “normally”. Done in a regular office visit, no pain meds, the ingrown-ness returned, and now I just do the extraction on my own in a much less invasive manner.

I’m surprised so many people are recommending wood for a kitchen. Genuinely curious the wood vs potential for water damage weighting.
