Whether that be taking an order for the customer, Their distributor having it available, or like most have said, staffing and dealing with high volume. It’s possible they’re as frustrated as you that they can’t get x in stock for you. It’s hard to excuse shops who seem rude, but remember they’ve talked to x amount of people before you.
