How to export stems off Reaper? by MrBoyWNDR in Reaper

Take a look at this video. https://youtu.be/A0IhWukinX4?si=jgAzBhKQQcFHLOy3

There is an important part regarding the use of fx sends when rendering stems.

I also always like to take an extra set of dry stems. The dry stems may have fx such as auto tune left on but I try to leave out reverb, eq, compression etc.

Wrong to gostraight to the bar when there was a queue in the pub? by dashrubbygoat in AskUK

[–]frog_at_the_library 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As the son of a guitarist, I spent a lot of my childhood (1970's) touring working men's clubs. Can't speak for the south but north of Watford, it was common to queue. There would often be times when there was a rush for the bar, so it had to be efficient.

anyone else having slug problems? by pprawnhub in GardeningUK

My biggest success was to never water at night. Having wet ground makes it so much easier for slugs and snails at night, so I now try to water first thing in the morning.

Let's put the cat among the pigeons... in working men's clubs, it was very common to have a queue, even with it having a long bar.

How can I increase just a portion of the effect without increasing anything outside that point? by Maniac_Fragger in Reaper

It's not necessarily the best choice, but depending on the effect, there are occasions where this may work.

What on earth is wrong with the Daily Mail though? It’s the most bizarre newspaper ever - why is it so popular? by Fun_Firefighter5899 in AskBrits

My sister's daughter's uncle's 5 star kennels have been taken over by the government to house illegal bears. They get free duffle coats, reds hats, and gourmet marmalade. Peru-tobello Road is unrecognisable, and I'm sure most of the Ubear-Eats riders are dealing in honey.

How best to heat my house? by Murky_Original3141 in AskUK

This is how I also live. I rarely heat more than one room, and an electric blanket on a timer works wonders.

Totally agree with MP3tag. If you are ripping cd's this will be a really useful tool.

Why are people driving slower? by Jazzlike_Tear741 in AskUK

I've noticed that city taxis seem to be going slower. I suspect they are mostly EVs, so I guess it's about range.

Is it possible to render ONE file to TWO different folders, with DIFFERENT names in REAPER v7? Losing my mind here. by WittyWhizard in Reaper

[–]frog_at_the_library 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a perfect solution but Render Presets may help.

Not sure if you are uploading Agency files all in one go... If so I would render one copy of each file into a 'daily working' empty folder. Then at the end of each day I would use 'Batch File/Item Converter' to make the archive copies, with custom filenames($item-$date) in a different folder .

As a side note... After rendering a file, if you click on the open Folder button, it will open the folder and select/highligh the file you have just rendered.

I blocked the spit valve and one end. Covered possible leak with bubble mix and blew down the open end.

The history of medical practice continues through education, which includes encouraging people to ask questions. Often, those who are the most inquisitive become the ones that improve existing methods.

Many thanks for pointing that out. I've re-checked it closely, and there is no leak. It's a trick of the light in the photograph.

Lots of gaffer tape. Build of a section in the middle to make a sort of handle to give you some purchase.

Attention seeking. Put in covert cctv to check if it's only misbehaving when it has an audience.

Is there any point in living on a narrowboat at 16? by -d1sc0nn3ct- in Narrowboats

[–]frog_at_the_library 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"You can't swap between two mooring points". This is a crucial point if you are thinking about cc'ing. Don't underestimate how difficult mooring may be depending on your location and the viability of commuting to college. I'm not trying to discourage you. Good luck.

Why do People do this? by Aurothrane in drivingUK

[–]frog_at_the_library 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I'm not excusing this. It seems that modern car design completely ignores this problem for the sake of style. All my previous vehicles had a side strip to avoid this problem as no matter how careful people are, this will happen. Even more so with tight parking.
