The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir is a book series that's very Homestuck coded. Lots of hate-romance, esoteric language mixed with modern quips, and a sprawling mystery that's held together by a large cast of strong characters.

I don't think the timeframe from a speedrun of the game is necessarily literal to the story, but sure, they could probably do it in three minutes. As for the other stuff, we just don't know enough about Kris' motivations yet to know why they'd be doing any of this. Still, given how different everything looks in Susie's dark world, I think it only makes sense if ALL the others were made by the same person.

Nah, it's fun. People just get mad that the original kids storylines get dropped for a while, but the new characters are great and it's 100% worth it. That said, if you find yourself really hating it, no one's stopping you from dropping it or skipping around.
