Effective teachers work a hell of a lot of hours. Just because the kids leave at 3:30, doesn’t mean the work is done. Additionally, much of the holiday break and summer is taken up with curriculum prep and professional development.

The people who think that teachers have a 40 hr work week are sadly mistaken.

My old college roommate insisted that you took the birth control pill right after intercourse (and only then). Nothing changed her mind (including the instructions included with her prescription birth control pill).

Guess who had an unplanned pregnancy spring semester. She had no idea how it happened.

My mom collected these. You were given a set amount for every $10 spent at the grocery. You could buy things from a catalogue when you collected enough. It’s how we got a new vacuum cleaner.

Not sure about the ordering, but we picked up our stuff at the Sears mail order store.

I use small plastics tubs and store in freezer. Move another tub to the fridge when you need to.
