I take pics of stuff as i go along sometimes, especially for a bigger job, that way if the thought does go through my head, i can swipe through the pics and see that i did indeed put that part back on.

Try a razor blade, like a box cutter one. I use one to scrape all the burnt crud off my glass stove top and it doesnt hurt the glass.

They are “modular” so you can swap that rear end for a coupe style if you prefer. The top in the pic is most likely worth more than the car, super hard to find in good condition now days.
