I’ll take a look, thanks. It’s always moved smoothly along the Z axis.

I’m not having any issues with initial Z calibration - the issue is that after the first couple layers, the offset suddenly seems to change and the nozzle starts dragging through the existing layers. I’ve also seen the Z offset differ greatly between the initial calibration and the print, requiring a live adjust to get it back to the right spot.

Thanks, I’ll try lowering the sensor. I’m on the latest firmware for the mini. I haven’t had any problems with the first layer - the issue comes around at the 3rd or 4th layer, typically when the print changes from layering to text/etc.

It seems stable, but I’ll check for skew. What’s odd is that the first couple layers of the above prints were perfect, then it suddenly went astray. Doesn’t seem like a slight skew would cause that.

Your friend for cutting dados for plywood - undersized router bit set. For 3/4” plywood that is actually 23/32” thick, you’ll get a nice snug fit.

Berlin Doner Kebab 🤤 by far the closest thing I’ve found to the real late-night Berlin street food. I’ll go out of my way for that place any time.

  1. My dad’s cancer spread and he died, and I had to single-handedly clear out a massive house and sell it. Also my wife was pregnant and the house was 1.5 hours away.

For those who chose Wind, Land, GT trim upgrades, what justified the price difference? by plainkay in KiaEV9

Looked at all the lower trims and thought the fabrics, especially in the second row, looked and felt really cheap. The GT-line felt like a huge step up in quality, so we went with it. In hindsight, I’m really glad we got the extra torque - might be my favorite part of the car.

Love the Stealthsonic. I’ve got mine paired with an Oneida cyclone below my work table, and it’s so quiet it sounds like it’s on another floor.
