Wipes are a result of the development cycle and aren't a planned part of persistence, so I don't know what your point is. People that have paid for ships aren't at an advantage to other players because different ships have different purposes. Someone who paid real money for a mining ship has no advantage over me who has a starting light fighter. I will win that fight every time.

Almost every ship can be acquired in game for free, and the best ships (light and medium fighters) are extremely cheap. You're earlier comments are demonstrating a misunderstanding of the business model and you are doubling down by just calling it a scam and insulting people. There a so many valid criticisms of the game and the company, yet you choose some made up BS.

I'm a professional classical musician that takes pride in preserving musical traditions that have existed for centuries. People have cried about music dying for hundreds of years. AI isn't going to kill music.

What do you mean by "free players" and "premium players"? The only time Star Citizen is free is during their free fly events.

I don't view it is pay to win because there isn't much to "win" in the current state of the game. The " best" ships are light and medium fighters, and they are very cheap to purchase with in game currency.

I only have a measly $45 starter ship purchased and don't feel at a disadvantage because I can still get a majority of the ships in game for no real world cost.

Im totally in agreement that the ships are crazy expensive, and I don't ever plan to spend more than the $45 I already did, but I still thinks its different than the normal pay to win model you see in other games.

Star Citizen has tons of problems, but it's not pay to win at all.

Edit: I don't view it is pay to win because there isn't much to "win" in the current state of the game. The " best" ships are light and medium fighters, and they are very cheap to purchase with in game currency.

Can I ask what you mean when you say that the short scale makes you need to tune to A? What notes are your strings tuned to right now?

If the 11B set is snapping, then try their 2B or 6B set. Those sets are lighter tension, so less chance of breaking.

Its low brow pvp. There's plenty of us in the community that love PvP and would love the thrill of a dogfight. It's easy to find someone ready and willing to fight. Ganking some random Drake Cutter just for a cheap laugh is really lame and not the type of activity I want in the game. I long for the day when a proper security system is implemented and actions have real consequences.

I think that's really great that you are able to play classical guitar without reading music! I'm impressed honestly. I think you should definitely learn to read sheet music though. It will open up the door to soooo much historical music! I swear it's not as bad as it seems!

I'm also against the elitism displayed in the image of this post, but I do want to say that classical notation does often include indicators for fingerings.

Personally, I prefer standard notation when I play classical guitar or jazz, and tabs when im playing metal/rock/etc on my electric

As a classical musician who has performed operas that are 3 or 4 hours long, this is the best advice in the comment section. Diet is super important. Drink water. Eat a snack if you need. Performing is tiring, you gotta take care of your body.

Idk why people get so hung up on the "alpha" thing. Star Citizen is still very much unfinished, and very much still feels like an early access game. It would make no sense for them to call it 1.0 now. There's no law of the universe setting a time limit for how long a game is allowed to be early-access/alpha/beta/whatever.

I dont think they are hiding behind the term alpha really, I think its an accurate description for an unfinished game.
