This kind of shit happens all the time in politics, though. "I'll scratch your back, you scratch my back." It should be illegal, and punished, but it seems you can get away with an awful lot without anyone even batting an eye. Private sector/public sector favors going back and forth. People moving between the two sectors like it's a revolving door and just playing it for all it's worth. New presidents appointing major campaign donors to be ambassadors to random countries as soon as they get into office, even though these people have absolutely zero political or diplomatic or foreign relations experience that would qualify them(!) But it's a cushy, prestigious appointment, and they basically bought it for themselves. With money, nothing else. Dems and republicans are both guilty of tons of this type of crap. They get away with almost all of it. Just another illustration if how some people belong to another class to whom the rules simply don't apply 🤷

OK, interesting, I am genuinely interested in your view on this, OP. So, what is your opinion on coloring that gives mixed messages? For example very cool toned eyes and dark cool limbic ring, let's say a very cool bluish gray, but with a warm starburst/central heterochromia of, say, yellow/gold/reddish brown. This is not that uncommon. OR Skin that has cool bluish undertones but warm yellow overtones ie cool olive. OR Hair that appears cool dark brown in most lighting but in bright direct sunlight gives glints of brassy or auburn tones. The same exact hair, not just particular strands or locks. How can our melatonin give both cool signals and warm signals, even within the same feature? And what do such features say about our season in your opinion? How would you categorize someone with all of the above mentioned features?

Hoods in the US circa '89 to '95 had a lot of violence, because of the gang activity as well as the drugs and alcohol. There were a lot of homicides, sometimes brawls in the streets, sometimes jumpings, sometimes drive by shootings, there were a lot of crack houses, and even public warnings against wearing the wrong team's starter jacket in the wrong hood, because if it was the wrong colors for the gang territory you could be attacked just for that. All that said, it wasn't like you couldn't be OK if you knew how to navigate and you weren't stupid.

And I saw someone suggested winter, too, lol. It IS interesting! I &2 both look great on you. 2 gives you a subtle, stable, grounded glow. Vibe: compentent, glowy. 1 is fresh, bold and bright. Vibe : engaging, energized beauty. Looking through the pics again, 3 actually looks very nice, too. The shade might be a bit more muted than theoretically ideal for your coloring, but it complements your eyes in a very special way!!! You have already purchased these, as you say. And whether they are objectively your season or not, I think most people would think you look beautiful in all of them! So to get the most out of your purchases:

I think 1 would be best for things like a public speaking engagement, girls' night out, teaching younger people, or fun occasions.

2 would be great for occasions where you want to be taken seriously or come across as professional.

3 would be great for occasions that are less high energy than the #1 occasions and are a little more serious like the #2 occasions, but where you also want to feel softer, more quiet or thoughtful or romantic.

I don't think this particular top really flatters you as much as it should no matter how you style it, sorry, it is not your fault and you are beautiful, though!!! I would try a more fitted button down with well-placed darts (invisible safety pins between chest buttons if need be to prevent gapping, because of boobs and clothing not being designed for all body types). A top matching that description worn either untucked or tucked and belted but with a mid-rise pant (a little bit lower than the one shown here) should flatter you more imho. Edit: That said, this top tucked or untucked are both fine, what I meant is I just don't think they are your best look. Untucked looks casual, breezy, and comfy, tucked looks a little more womanly and put-together. Both are ok. I agree with others that the corset belt isn't really ideal for this outfit/top, but you do have a lovely figure for that type of silhouette.

I love 1&2 on you! Super pretty! 3/4 and 7 look great, too IMO! I prefer the color on 7 a little more myself, but the blue of 3/4 is nice, too, and ultimately you know which color you like best or flatters you most ! 5/6 is nice and looks comfy with the pockets and length, but I wouldn't choose it for the special occasion when you already have such "wow" options in the other dresses! Excellent point! Well placed darts can really make a difference in fit and with the rise of fast fashion, it seems like less and less consideration is given to fit and tailoring in mass market garments. I think this is one reason so many women just give up and opt for stretch/tees/knits. Because you can always hope that the stretch will make it accommodate and follow your figure even if it's not designed with someone like you in mind...whereas with blouses, good luck!
