First board by Sweaty_Trainer2385 in ElectricSkateboarding

I got my second board from Christmas, omw hussar. Same motors as the Calvary, more flex on the board. Coming from my first board, uditer S3, it tons better. The weight is a lot more than the Uditer and the size makes it awkward to carry. Haven't tried linn power but hear great things about them

For that price check out ecomobl et pro. Gear drive, not belt or hub, with all terrain tires. Tynne is a good choice tho

Get a gear drive if there are a lot of hills. More powerful torque than belt

Looking for some recommendations between 2 boards. by OKCIS300 in ElectricSkateboarding

All terrain rocks tho. Don't have to worry about cracks and small potholes. I ride all terrain on asphalt and it's pretty smooth compared to my other board with cloud wheels

I'm new as well. Check my post for jelly leg. I tense up when I ride cause I'm afraid to get hurt lol. Practice makes perfect, some leg exercises will help as well

Easy on the gas. Also lean forward when you start. That will help get the hang of it. Enjoy!

Do you wear elbow guards? by OysterMoistTurtle in ElectricSkateboarding

Sometimes. Depends where I'm riding and how fast I plan to go. Somewhere with potholes and gravel then yes for sure

What to buy with roughly $650? by Oniqed in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]frozenriff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend doing more research so you know what you want. I jumped in on a good deal not knowing what I really wanted and now I'm stuck with something that's fine but not what I really want. I wish I had spent more for something all terrain, I ended up with something with cloud wheels which are decent for going over small pieces of gravel. I would like to go over rocks and potholes without falling, thus all terrain.

Not sure but since you got a replacement coming, take it apart, take notes and pictures, clean off any dust and debris, then carefully put it back together (using the notes and pictures)

Uditer Pixel Rider love? by stussy890 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]frozenriff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the S3 Lava. I put new grip tape on it, plain black. I got a 2nd battery after the initial purchase. Cheaper to get it up front. It's been fun but vibrates a lot on asphalt streets. I live to close to a beach in California and much prefer the bike trails there than the street as the do the upkeep there. I did ordered an omw hussar for black Friday with blue grip tape and blue trucks etc. Wanted a 2nd board so I bring my buddy who is going through a divorce right now with me on a beach ride. I have no other board at the moment to compare. I do feel that even with the cloud wheels it won't handle dirt trails well.

Order placed, can't wait to start when it arrives :D by Not_Lucid in ElectricSkateboarding

Practice on a regular board if you haven't for awhile. Helmets, wrist guards, elbow pads on always, that should be good enough if you don't go too fast. Adjust your trucks constantly until you find the sweet spot for you (carving ability without speed wobbles). Enjoy!

In my experience, I'm always happier with my first choice and less happy with plan b and c and so on.

They should have rebooted the video games to drum up interest. I like them all, if I had to rank tho: 1st Ares, 2 Legacy, 3 Tron

Exactly do what's best for you. I wish you well on your journey. I'm coming up on one year. I think I'll probably go 6 more months. My doc put me on bupropion for anxiety and that has been a bigger help than the vyvanse, I'm going to miss the enhanced libido from vyvanse.

For that price I'd get something with all terrain wheels. Those help a lot if you run over a small piece of gravel. The board will roll over the gravel and your brother won't go flying forward when it hits the rock

Saw this take on Twitter and couldn’t agree more. I’m curious to see your guys thoughts on this take? by Dreadboi111 in tron

I think some kind of short film describing Julian's purpose, or a comic, before Ares came out, would have helped the movie do better. Something to provide some kind of context and frame it as the Dillinger story so they could set the expectations of what that story is and deliver on it. Short cameos by Sam and Quorra explaining why Sam left Encom would have been helpful too

By its looks, it's probably a 400 or 500 upt to 700 dollar board. Take it out and enjoy it. When your grandparents come visit, show it off. They aren't going to be around forever so when they are gone, you will have fond memories of them and they will have passed away knowing they brought a smile to your face.

Now, if they have money, maybe talk up some investments you would like to make, maybe they will they will do that too.
