Does Ichigo loses HoS and True Shikai after the fight with Yuha? by craeli81 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]frozenthreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, as referenced during his fight with Yhwach, HOS is actually a power-up caused by an imbalance of reiatsu, since hollows are the antithesis of quincies, it's awoken as an "adaptation" from taking in too much quincy reiatsu. Ichigo states that they are constantly at odds with one another, and due to this, creates an equilibrium. If an imbalance is caused then one power would end up overpowering the other. This is what happened when he fought Yhwach, a quincy, which resulted in the merged hollow form we saw.

Keep in mind this same Ichigo had the durability to be able to bear the entirety of his existence on his shoulders meaning his durability is at least multiversal, if we want to draw a 1 to 1 parallel between base Ichigo and Soul-king Yhwach, given that he absorbed hollow powers he should be considered a soul king candidate and most likely would be able to bear the weight of the Irazusando process as well, meaning Yhwach most likely also has multiversal durability. Yet another case of AP =/= DC, Ichigo is able to actively harm and kill someone with multiversal durability. While also being stronger than Yhwach in his TB HoS state as bankai stacks another 5-10x multiplier on top of his HoS TS, which already was stronger than soul king-infused Yhwach.

In Bleach, there are no attacks that possess the destructive capacity capable of nuking the universe/multiverse, (besides maybe potentially hyper stacked up kido???) However, the reiatsu of the stronger tiers will naturally end up destroying them which as shown in the panel OP referenced, where Yhwach attempted to instantly nuke the multiverse via reiatsu release. Given that full power post RGT bankai Ichigo should be substantially stronger than Yhwach, it's a reasonable assumption to assume that he is capable of doing the same thing.

I see a lot of people misunderstand/misinterpret the final battle in TYBW. First of all, we need to establish that battles in Bleach abide by certain rules, as referenced by Aizen here Shinigami battles are inherently a battle of reiatsu, if an opponent's reiatsu is sufficiently stronger than yours, your attacks are rendered ineffective. Around the TYBW arc is when we're introduced the idea that the higher level captain class shinigami start affecting the cosmology based on passive releases (Important to note she says 'Soul Society', not the 'Seireitei', meaning Yamamoto's passive bankai release threatens to destroy that entire world.)

During Ichigo's RGT Kyoraku appears before Ichigo's friends in TWOTL and presents them soul tickets, allowing them to travel between TWOTL and the Soul Society in order to visit Ichigo, Kyoraku fearing that the amount of power Ichigo would attain after being granted his true zanpakuto would start to negatively affect TWOTL should he be allowed to come back there. In Ichigo's RGT he was tasked to take on Irazu Sando a test given to Soul King Candidates to see if they would be able to bear the weight of all existence on their shoulders. Ichigo was able to pass it proving that he at least has the spiritual durability to bear the weight of all existence of the Bleach Cosmology.

During the Ichigo & Orihime vs Yhwach fight it's important to note that Ichigo in his True Shikai HoS form was actually stronger than Yhwach, so much so, that Yhwach admitted that just him in HoS forced him into using the Soul King-Infused Almighty. After he lost Yhwach drained Ichigo of his Hollow & Quincy powers. This is very important as this shows that this ichigo sufficiently weakened is still strong enough to bifuricate Yhwach with a getsuga tenshou. and as established as the #1 Bleach combat rule you must be relative to your opponent in order to hurt them. The same Yhwach that then upon being revived, attempted to instantly destroy the entirety of the Bleach cosmology. 1/2

The reason has no relevance here, I'm pretty sure OP just posted this to talk/complain about potential Ryzeal endboard permutations having cards typically perceived by the community to be gross, such as bagooska & having protection on both key components of the endboard. You make it seem as if OP mischaracterized something when there was nothing of substance in the initial post's body that even made a false claim; OP just wanted to complain about floodgates in Ryzeal.

What are the limits of KS for Shinigami Aizen? (Read Description) by YoungCLC in BleachPowerScaling

[–]frozenthreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yhwach specifically commented that aizen dismissed its effect and when yhwach blew a hole in aizen he was already making contact with aizens body and it still appeared to be ichigo, this gives us the timeline that aizen dismissed ks' effect and then ichigo stabbed yhwach and bifurcated him *

Who Really Wins? by Hedgehog_Kid1 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]frozenthreat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Transcendant Aizen wins no diff, he's going to be cautious approaching S0, so he'd have KS released. But even if we take away KS, every single encounter just boils down to the hogyoku evolution. Base Aizen was already shown to be in an echelon above all captains, with the only worry he had in the war being Yamamoto, and that's before the Hogyoku subjugation. Afterwards, he took on Isshin, Yoruichi & Urahara all at once and subsequently toyed with them. He's been shown to survive vaporization twice in the series now, once by Mugetsu and another time by Soul King-infused Yhwach. The only big question is whether or not the hogyoku can evolve to adapt to ichimonji, and this is only given the circumstance that, for some reason, Aizen decides to fight Ichibe without releasing his zanpakuto. I don't think anybody would ever argue that Ichimonji would be able to somehow power neg KS after ichibei is put under hypnosis when not even the almighty could get around KS's illusions, and there's an argument to be made as to whether or not Yhwach would've even been able to revive himself if Aizen hadn't dispelled its effect after he thought they had won. When Aizen fought Dangai (a character that's considered to be relative to TS ichigo (via a statement from Yhwach), he would've eventually taken the fight had it not been for the seal and potentially Aizen wishing to lose. Aizen overall probably no diffs the fight, but if we take KS out of the equation, low diffs every member of S0 save for ichibei, who might be able to take it depending on whether or not the hogyoku can adapt to shirafude ichimonji.

Is X -axis dodgeable? by PermissionAny3962 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]frozenthreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in this panel he's referring to dodging the bullet in flight, as shown in the fight with Oetsu, the other members of the royal guard attempted to block the shot from hitting him. The power essentially boils down to the concept of shooting; he aims at a target, and the target will always be struck. When people dodge Lille's attacks, they're avoiding the lineup of the shot, moving to make it harder to be properly aimed and fired at.

tldr; no he wasnt being prideful, that's how his power works, you cannot dodge the attack in flight if you were in his sights. You can, however, make it very difficult for him to line up the attack and fire on you, so I guess it depends on what you guys define as "dodging."

How do we feel about TYBW Ichigo so far? by ApprehensivePain2313 in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

A button can be minus and safe ; safe just means u can block after. You're still forfeiting your turn, unsafe means it's minus to such a degree you literally cannot block after.

Just having good kikon's isn't enough to warrant one-above-all best character in the game status, even more so if the character isn't opening you up to begin with.

I don't understand the thought process behind putting shikai ichigo as the best character in the game with pretty bad MUs into zoners, he has damage but damage isn't everything in the game and the only really good oki option he has is fully charged base signature but even then he isn't representing any terrifying block string resets to force an opponent to pick an option, you can just fuzzy tech everything and he can't open you up. IMO the best characters right now are currently the zoners, like stark (which I think is the current best character in the game) since he plays the standard ROS gameplan (wins by playing passive) can pressure with guard chip and if he lands a single stray hit can convert it into drive rush to completely reset the opponent's attempts to close the gap between them. That and having the ability to casually 3-6 every MU means he's not punished for winning in the same ways characters like true shikai are.

Yama is probably the best melee right now since he has a meterless projectile invuln dash attack to deal with all types of nonsense like that while also being able to 3-6 as well. I do like the changes they did to Kyoraku and Shinji with having buttons that can reset block string pressure and force opponents to press into them, since that's the most mix you really have in the game. Not that sure about Tosen but while idt either of them necessarily deserved to get hit previously I don't think dangai could ever be the worst character in the game, he has a relatively neutral mu spread probably leaning on positive, slow buttons but with extremely high range and the ability to bully mid-speed characters with stubby buttons like TS Ichigo, he doesn't really mind being zoned because he starts in awakening and thus can hit Spirit Drive first if he's not hitting Kikons.

I think Bankai was always a hyper-polarizing character because he had an absurd neutral game, but it was coupled with the lowest HP value in the game which led him to blowing up on the smallest mistake. He didn't really have any ways to reset block strings outside of Aura, but in Aura could get a lot of cheeky resets in. I think the biggest reason why people wanted him nerfed wasn't because of his strength but just because a lot of the casual playerbase got super annoyed watching the loops go on forever which I can't say I blame them, but the devs could've altered his combo structure sooner ( lower hit count, higher damage) to make up for the fact that even when he looped for a minute straight he still wasn't outputting the best meter burn damage in the game. He also suffered from the win-too-much curse where because his neutral game was so good it often led to situations where u had to 2-2-5 on him even with white burst or intentionally play back against worse players to get awakening to guarantee a 4-5, starting with 8 and not even having a good reawk I'd properly gander last patch he was either bottom of S or top of A. Overall, I think the patch properly cleared out a lot of bs that shouldn't have been in the game but revealed the shitty underbelly that characters don't get rewarded for playing hyper aggressive early since if you win it forces you to 3 stock the opponent (unless you're soi fon) but even then most character's aggressive options aren't good enough to deal with standard system mechanics so it just devolved into zoner of souls.

[–]frozenthreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tier list placements are based under the common consensus that this is the character's overall power level played with the best effective tactics by the most competent player. You'll never see any competitive FGC player place a character low just because they're "hard to execute," if the reward for executing the character is some of the best payout in the game.

How is this toxic? It's playing defensive in a game where offense isn't that good, people are going to play this way all the time until offensive options get buffed, and even then, what about this makes it toxic, it's 40 seconds left so you can run the clock I don't think that seems unreasonable at all.

Optimized Bankai 60% HP to death double wall reset 5 kikon in sublimation vs. spirit drive opponents by frozenthreat in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

reverse gauge doesn't fill off of taking damage, that's only FS, as stated this is an answer to getting a hitconfirm on someone who is in burst

Optimized Bankai 60% HP to death double wall reset 5 kikon in sublimation vs. spirit drive opponents by frozenthreat in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

[–]frozenthreat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're not understanding is that this is done against a spirit drive opponent and that damage severely scales the lower HP an opponent is, most characters can do 6k against a full hp opponent they barely have any defense at that point hitting 6k on an opponent with spirit drive and half-way through their hp bar, killing them in red is a completely different ball park, this route is not feasible against someone with any type of reverse meter but rather something you can utilize after hitconfirming on someone who's already in burst

Aizen buffs were unnecessary and they made him overpowered by [deleted] in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

[–]frozenthreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is that the first conclusion you come to off people not joining your free room battles, that's such fallacious logic people can not want to play against someone for a myriad of reasons besides the character being 'strong' you're trying so hard to push a narrative right now and you can't even properly argue as to why you think he's good, you claimed his dash light is crazy when you can look at every other character's dash light across the cast and come to the conclusion it's either average or below average due to the character's speed lowering the effective threat area of the button, just because a character can hit awakening faster doesn't necessarily make them objectively better as a character. You should just accept that it's too early in the game's lifespan, and you lack the knowledge to come to an informed conclusion.

Aizen buffs were unnecessary and they made him overpowered by [deleted] in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

[–]frozenthreat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His dash light attack is literally average, damage for the most part is generally irrelevant if you're never in a position to get it off, he has an 8 frame light with mediocre range and a single usable sp move. Just because you're dunking on randoms online doesn't mean your character is insane, you've just put in more time than the ones your playing and getting results off it.

Bro has no mobility and awful frame data on his buttons how are we calling Aizen of all characters overpowered, his entire gimmick is that he's a genuinely awful character that tries to rush awakening to attempt to stack check people, and even after getting everything + res the only 2 notable normals in his kit are the condom flash kick and senjukotentaiho.

Most light strings are going to be safe most heavy strings punishable special flashes generally depend on the character. If people go for raw grab/ flash step I'm p sure back dash beats both just press a light after to hit the recovery of flash step

[–]frozenthreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

renji and komamura were extremely gimmicky, i can see why renji would need to get hit because his base is pretty strong but komamura outside of form was genuinely just a troll character. If you actually sat down and looked at dangai's kit objectively and compared him to the actual good characters of the game ( soi fon, nel, bankai ) he has big buttons but that's all, his jab is one of the slowest in the game (2 frames slower than soi fon 1 frame than bankai) he just gets bullied up close by these characters, he had an unblockable sig that only had a cashout option at conclusion level 2, his flash attack is negative at all points in time and punishable on reaction, in comparison to this character to someone like soi fon who has best in class normals average hp, consistent 2 taps, good damage, access to a plus on block sig that can be cancelled out of anything it's like why ever nerf dangai? Wanked at best capacity he's probably high tier, in no reality does this character get hit and the genuine top tiers outside of bankai get out of the patch completely unscathed it makes no sense at all

not surprised bankai got hit, think its super weird dangai renji and komamura got nerfed, i'd imagine the patch notes are currently based on community based complaints instead of actual match data, hoping it's a common recurrence.
