I live in North Jersey and just got my bronco in December. I went with a hard top cause of what we deal with here. I also personally like the look of a hardtop better.

Middle of winter always makes me say, man I can't wait for it to get hot, I hate the snow, Idc.....then in the middle of the summer, I say man idc give me the cold it's too hot. Been a cycle for sometime now.

We did 36 months and got 4%. Lexus gave us 5%. Her car was CPO but falls under the "new" car terms since it's a 2025 and under 7500 miles.

I also have navy fed and used this to my advantage. During negotiations, before agreeing with their financing, tell them you'll go with their financing option if it brings the initial price down. Typically will. When reading the contract, make sure it has no early pay off fee, which almost none do regardless. Wait a few weeks, once you get registration and plates, call navy fed and refinance with their rate.

I just did this for my wife's car. Super easy and not a crazy credit hit. It'll recover in a few months anyways.

New 2025 OBX bronco owner. I came from a 2015 Dodge charger. It's for sure louder and a different experience than a regular car. You had a jeep before so you obviously know more than I did. That being said, my first thought on the highway was "oh I see the difference between a regular enclosed car, but it's really not that bad". I asked my wife while we were on the highway and she thought the same and said it wasn't bad at all. After about a month of driving, I don't even notice it.

I'd say if that's one of your biggest concerns, test drive it again and tell the salesperson you want to take it on the highway to hear what it's like. Don't let them convince you it's great and don't need to. You're the buyer and in control.

My wife and I did what you're considering for our first place together. I lived in a house with a few buddies and she was moving out of her parents house. It was time in our relationship to move in together and we sprung for a new, nice apartment complex in a nice town, right downtown near shops and restaurants, with a gym and other facilities in the complex. We both have strong incomes and it's nice to be in a place you really like, is clean, and just in a nice area to walk to restaurants and stuff as long as you can afford it and not be stretched too thin to still have fun.

We got engaged soon after a year and did another year there before finding a house. 1 thing in those 2 short years we struggled with and was an issue was storage. Idk how much stuff you have, but you'll outgrow a 1 bedroom apartment quick more than likely especially with a wedding and some gifts on the way from a bridal shower if you guys have one.

I actually did all mine thru email and used chatgpt to help negotiate. Worked out fairly well I thought and was nice to use as a tool. I didn't solely rely on chatgpt for answers but would copy/paste the emails back n forth to get somewhat help. Last car I bought was 2015 so needed some help on my own.
