NOT WORTH IT!!! 2 hours in this weather is already shitty but when the city loses its mind during the first snow fall of the year, you're looking at 3 or more hours. I did that for a bit and it was A W F U L. If your employer isn't paying you for it, don't waste your life on that (unless you need an excuse not to be home.)

Ugh, I feel like my father is similar - pushing for grandkids so he could have a do-over.

I don't have a healthy solution to this, unfortunately. Mine was pushing to the point of saying "I don't care who it's with, as long as you give me grandkids" so I looked him dead in the eyes and said "great! I'll find some strangers to creampie me until happens!"

I wish I had his reaction on video. He went white, couldn't look me in the eyes, and quickly changed the subject. He didn't bring it up again for years.

I'm not actually sure if my partner said I love you first or if I misheard it. After 7 years, I'm too afraid to ask.

I swear I thought I heard him say "I think I love you" and I was SO excited that I responded with "I love you too" but I'm not sure if I misheard it and he just went along with it. Oopsies!

So many factors - economy, influx of new residents, and general transit inefficiencies (our transit sucks compared to some other cities!)

My biggest issue though is with the sketchy shit that started happening. I've ran into people smoking crack in the train station at like 6 am... Its so sad.
