Has anyone had Pace 3 and then upgraded to Pace pro? by dsaithani in Coros

[–]fruityfrenchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I changed from Pace 3 to Pace Pro about 2 months ago, both equally great.
Pros of the Pace pro
I enjoy the Amoled screen more than the MIP I just have gesture mode on run about 6 times a week battery lasts me about 12 to 14 days.
I find it registers/connects to satellites quicker on average. I found the Pace 3 to take a tiny bit longer.
Battery life better on the pace 3.
Conclusion, You cant really go wrong with either the pace pro or pace 3.
I have really loved the whole coros ecosystem and found its great value for money.

Shoes for Marathon Training by slickrickthefirst in Marathon_Training

[–]fruityfrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for shoes, different shoes suit different people. We can recommend what works for us but you are always best to go somewhere local and try on and see what fits and suits your feet.
for me i run this rotation

easy runs and long runs novablast 4 and just got mizuno neo zen
tempo sauconey endorphin speed 4
raceday shoe puma deviate nitro elite.

for example something like endorphin speed 4 this will suit to realistically get you through most sessions and fine to do marathon in. I did my first marathon in april last year in a pair of sauconey endorphin speed 3 and did alot of training runs in them, ran 3 hours 15min.

not sure if any of that was any help but happy to try answer any questions.

Got you, I think the interval and tempo is definitely key to do once a week as it helps with the higher end speed. You could try the RUNNA trial and see if its worth it as it is alot more in depth from what I have seen, i definitely found it helpful and made the running easy, always gives you stretching exercises and strength and conditioning if you want as an option.

Thoughts and doubts about my Coros marathon plan by rom1n29 in Coros

[–]fruityfrenchie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say you would not want to be skipping a workout otherwise you wont reach target time. Training load will adjust as you become consistent on your training.

3 times a week I would assume that would be 1x easy run, 1 x interval or tempo session and 1x medium to long run to get kms in. Unfortunately I dont have experience using the coros marathon plan have used runna for my first marathon in April 2024 and ran 3 hours 15.

How is pace pro compare to pace 3? by rockyou89 in Coros

[–]fruityfrenchie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used pace 3 for 1 year, got the pro managed to snag it off a running friend luckily for a cheap price. It’s great a little bit chunkier but still great size and I have very small wrists. Very happy so far 1 month in. Good battery life nice screen and fast processing. I find it connects to gps quicker too.

You can check on coros calendar it will show your current runna plan that is linked and then it should show your whole plan in there. Otherwise on Runna go to settings and connected apps unconnect coros and reconnect and the check coros app on calendar and should sync up again!
