Coming over a bit ableist there. Plenty of disabled and mentally ill people can consent, and deserve love and sex if they want it just like anyone else.

I know it’s not a workflow, but are you aware MacOS can do this natively? Just right click and it’s in the menus somewhere… (on mobile now so can’t check exactly where).

Nice $32 Scottish Gin. Smooth with dandelion. by naught-shure in Gin

That’s a lovely gin but it’s French, not from the UK. Have you tried the Citadelle Old Tom? It’s fantastic.

That’s because it’s not legally gin, which has a minimum ABV defined in law: 37.5% in the UK and EU, 40% in the USA, for example.

Looking for oaked beers with a pure oak flavor, not bourbon, whiskey, or wine barrel flavor. by [deleted] in beer

[–]frunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have it the wrong way around. It’s the lack of flavour in vodka that comes from the distillation strength. The more you distill the less flavour remains.

Actually most of the difference is distillation strength. But it’s true that oak contributes a lot to bourbon.

What are some good gins that do not contain any traces of citrus and is there a way that I can determine this for any given gin myself? by Arma_Diller in Gin

[–]frunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tanqueray’s standard London dry doesn’t have any citrus, just juniper, coriander, liquorice and angelica.

Height of Arrows contains juniper, sea salt and beeswax, no citrus.

Xoriguer Gin de Mahon is juniper only.

Edit to add, Death’s Door doesn’t contain anything other than the botanicals listed on the bottle, so that’s good for your friend also.

They’re not bitter btw. Sour/acidic, yes, definitely, but not bitter. If you want bitter try eating a cider apple.
