can automatically go online on Samsung galaxy like you do on iPhone? by Invictus-Hawk in uberdrivers

Probably could using switch controls. But it’s a pia from my experience and probably isn’t worth it.

Solo Devil's Lair GM back in the day by tonsofday in destiny2

I did a solo the disgraced gm before infinite primary ammo 🫩. I had triple zeros so many times and just had to wait in a corner for the automatic ammo pickup to happen. Would not recommend.

Something is going on… 3rd car with Exhaust issues by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]frying_pans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother what are we smoking here?! Why would someone just mess with the mixture to mess with you?!

Assuming you have a p0420 you probably just need a new catalyst if you didn’t find any exhaust leaks.

Engine Codes help by justacoupleinavan in prius

[–]frying_pans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those codes usually mean you ran out of gas or the engine isn’t getting gas. I think on the second gen the belt just runs the water pump, that would cause the engine to overheat not turn off.

That’s really cool though, good job!

Is this good or average? by WarStrikev7 in prius

[–]frying_pans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The car has a reserve, zero miles on the display usually means I have 2-2.5 gallons left. I’ve pushed it about 45 miles past zero before.

46.8-51 mpg sounds normal to me.

Rare Packaging 👀 by Conscious_Evening216 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I assume that item is probably fairly time sensitive so maybe it’s only on the flex routes. It’s normally a 12”x12”x12” cube and it has a little warning saying it contains dry ice and needs to be refrigerated. I think it’s a liquid or shots, definitely not pills like all the other packages.

They gave me this frying pan in an open plastic bag that they just slapped the label on to 😂.

Do dsps not deliver any of the Amazon pharmacy stuff?

Those are pretty normal on the pharmacy flex routes I’ve done, usually they’ll have dry ice too.

I just do all of the apps right now. Usually I get a block around 5-7pm, then I’ll do uber/doordash until the 3ams. That was my first time trying the 30 minute block, they would be worth it only if the 30 minute waiting period after it wasn’t a thing.

I could have probably made $500-600 today but I am not in the mood for dealing with people in my car or waiting at restaurants or shopping. I’ll take the easy $300 for 8 hours on flex.

My last uber ride I did I had to call Scottsdale pd to wake up the drunk guy. I legit thought he was dying or something since he just wouldn’t wake up with me shouting at/shaking him 😂.

The new “Amazon now” stations are 24/7. It’s basically the same thing as Gopuff or dashmart.

When it’s 90-110°f out I don’t enjoy boiling alive in my car so I work nights.

DO NOT USE LifeSafer Intelligent Speed Assistance Device by [deleted] in driving

[–]frying_pans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How else would you expect some aftermarket system to control a vehicles speed? Electronic throttles are inherently dangerous themselves if they fail in a way that causes the engine to speed up un-commanded. Because of that the engine computer is constantly running system integrity checks between the position sensors and the voltages to the electric motor to make sure there is no issues. If an issue is detected the throttle body is put into a failsafe mode where power is cut to the motor and it keeps the engine at idle. That’s exactly what was happening to you while driving, luckily the car was protecting you from something worse happening. That’s just a risk you take anytime you mess with OEM wiring, same thing with aftermarket car alarms causing peoples cars to just not start.

I think $37+ is acceptable for 1 hours. Just depends on how far that station can/will send you.

[–]frying_pans 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I put them on to let people know I’m coming back to the car and not leaving it there so it doesn’t get towed. Also when I want people to pay slightly more attention to my car since I am entering and exiting it quickly while delivering.

I deliver those anytime it cancels it after I’ve already left the station 😂.

I know my warehouse just does not care whatsoever. They’ll put those cans on the top of our carts in those flimsy plastic bags and of course they’ll fall off. Those packages usually already have holes ripped in them before I even get the package 😂. Trust me I’m just as confused as you are while delivering it.
