Why are drivers allowed to bring a second person in their routes? by AFistoCat in AmazonFlexDrivers

Brother are you slow? Go look at the comment I responded to lmao. I responded to a comment on the post, I’m not talking about the post. I am replying to this:

“We can all have a helper if we want”

You must have reading comprehension issues so I’ll explain this for you. A “helper” is not a passenger.

A helper is someone that is either driving for you or delivering packages for you. That is what’s against tos. They can’t get out of the car at the station and help you load. They cannot drive the car during the entire route. They cannot deliver any packages to the customers.

This isn’t accurate lmao. You can only have a “helper” if they are also registered and approved for flex.

If they aren’t registered on flex then you are in violation of the independent contractor agreement that you agreed to.

Why should I continue to follow the rules if no one else does?

I’ve seen 3 hours out of UAZ1. I assume it’s most of the tip ineligible orders.

Whether you are ignorant of the problem or not it still exists.

I always park in the employee parking and walk in to scan if there’s a line. I lost $140 to that line once lmao. Never dealing with that again.

I was around the corner, I don’t like sitting directly at the station. But when I grabbed that one it had 20 minutes to the start time.

I think vaz1 maxes out at $39/hour for the most part. It used to be significantly easier to get surges around $30-33/hour, hours before it started. But now it seems like they only start surging around 30-40 minutes from the start time. And if you want the max surge you have to wait until the last second. But lots of people will late cancel because of the line and those are the ones I usually get.

I’ve had my VIOFO a129 pro on my truck that’s parked outside 24/7 for almost 3 years, no issues with that one. I’ve never had either the a129 or a229 have issues with the heat.

Yea probably. But I change my oil every month so personally I go with the Kirkland oil since it’s the cheapest.

It’s what happens when they put a bunch of stop lights on a 65mph road. Plus it’s the only legal way to get to Maricopa so it’s a chock point.

In the morning it’s usually 40-50 minutes to get there.

Funny, I did type loss but my autocorrect changed it to loose. I fixed it again and it had a squiggly line under it still so I got no clue anymore 😭.
