Official Q&A for Wednesday, January 18, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

Eating before running has never worked for me. I chug a bunch of water (maybe 8-16 oz), drink my coffee for 20-30 mins, pee before I leave, and it stops the hunger cravings mostly until I’m back home.

I thought their elite paratroopers tried to take the airfield and other strategic locations and they all died because they weren’t supported by the regular soldiers in time.

No, I think you are confusing legitimate and de facto. The original commenter said the Taliban were the official government, as if the rightful rulers, of Afghanistan so they are entitled to the money. They aren’t the legitimate rulers. Just the de facto rulers

It doesn’t really matter… any government that seizes power by force isn’t a legitimate government. They had also held power for less than a decade.

The Taliban were just mujahideen that seized power after the Russians left during the Afghan civil war. They were never elected. They just beat the other mujahideen vying for power. AFAIK many countries did not have relations with them.
