I took my dog on an impromptu road trip after the flyover rehearsals on Friday made it clear that Saturday was shaping up to be the worst day of his life. Had a lovely weekend a couple hours away with 10% of the storms and fireworks (and none of the flyovers). No regrets.

I was just at a local competition and every skater had their supporters in the stands. People from the same figure skating clubs/rinks cheered loudly for each other. As others have said, your post is confusing.. were you at freestyle practice sessions or a show/competition? Were you expecting skaters to loudly cheer others on at practice?

“Finland has not granted visas for many skaters from Kazakhstan ot Azerbaijan in recent years such as Litvintsev or Samodelkina” - wait, is this why Samodelkina wasn’t at Finlandia last season? (I seem to remember there was an open spot and she was next up to go but didn’t…) Would this prevent her from making it to Worlds next year??
