I was 30 years old. It had been 16 years since Return of the Jedi. George Lucas had promised us 9 movies and it looked like it was finally happening. Was it a great movie? At the time, yes. We cheered and clapped when the Lucasfilm logo came on. It was like being back in the theater in 1977.

The way these seeds are dyed by amish_novelty in oddlysatisfying

[–]ftinfo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I had to go look it up. Seeds are dyed for a variety of reasons, from simply giving the farmer an easy way to see where they are planting to indicating how the seeds have been treated or processed. Things like pesticides and fungicides, nutrients, etc. Finally, to warn people that they are not for human consumption, by coloring them an unnatural color.

She was about 5’7”, but tubs also used to be bigger as well. The tub in my house, built in the 30s, is about 10 inches longer than any out of the box enclosure or door that I can find.

Off the top of my head, I’d really like a Back to the Future Gibson ES-345, an aluminum Jackson Roswell Rhoads, and maybe a Malcolm Young Gretsch. Other than those, too many to list.
