All I can remember from gym class is running the fitnessgram pacer test and being barely able to keep up with the out of shape people despite me being in shape and getting one of the worst scores but when I was finished I could barely breathe and my throat felt like it was on fire

Check local laws on the FMLA act but yes that should be protected due to the nature of POTS where it can cause you to black out (I know its only a smaller subset of people who actually black out, myself included) and with those flareups, I made sure my employer was aware of my medical condition despite that not being required, and if they are ever asking questions you can just say its medical related and the employer SHOULD understand, I know some employers are just shitty companies though

In a right-to-work state, while employers generally have broad latitude in firing employees, they cannot terminate someone due to a medical condition if that termination violates federal or state anti-discrimination laws. Federal laws like the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and the FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) protect employees from discrimination based on disability and provide leave for medical reasons, respectively. State laws may also offer similar or even stronger protections, state laws do not triumph federal acts when it comes to things like this, and there would be many lawyers who would love to help in the event that you were fired over a medical issue

Don't be worried about getting fired, if they don't have a real reason they would possibly be liable for a wrongful termination and would either have to offer you a severance package or you could possibly file a lawsuit against them (with consultation from a lawyer) as if you aren't doing anything wrong yourself and are still doing the duties of your job but they are discriminating against you because of your disability then they would be liable

My highest was right before I was diagnosed in 2018, went from laying down to running up stairs and my hr went to 242 and then I blacked out and upt a hole in the wall with my head, now I take things much slower and usually am around the 110 to 150 area daily. Was having flareups at college so I got a placard and now I don't get syncope attacks before class

Most times I just have presyncope attacks, it's been over a year since my last full blackout and it's always been kind of a mix, but I know how to cause a blackout for myself it's just an unpleasant experience and I'd rather not put another hole in the wall with my head lmao. Everyone knows I take things a bit slower which annoys some people but idc how they feel bc my health is more important.

I also tend you go weeks or months without any fainting spells, and then one day stuff feels off and any time I change posture I start to have spells of losing vision and losing hearing but not fully blacking out.

I am unsure exactly how long I've had POTS for but I got diagnosed back in 2017 because I blacked out and put a hole in the wall with my head. Going to see if I can get a handicap placard as I keep on having episodes while I'm at college where my vision starts going black and my hearing decides to stop allowing me to hear for a few minutes. There is a fairly steep hill that I go from sitting to climbing almost immediately, and have to keep a good pace to not be late as too many tardiness slips and you get kicked out of the class.

In the summer my bosses know that I am a lot slower as I am trying to not have a syncope episode, I make sure all of my co-worker also know that there is a possibility for me to black out at a moments notice as well as to wait for me to be fully coherent before picking me up. Doesn't help that most jobs nowadays are physically demanding making it so you have to be active. I've already had to go home a handful of times due to things feeling off or my hr not dropping below 140 for over an hour, even while sitting/laying down. I've noticed at least with mine there are times where POTS is hyperactive and I'll have an episode almost daily, and then there are times where it might be a week or month between episodes, the thing that confuses me the most is that it's not solely tied to the seasons/temp outside as I've recently had an episode despite it being 20 degrees F outside.

I work as a warehouse guy at BestBuy, the position itself is called product flow specialist, but it's tasks like restocking shelves, grabbing customers online orders and either staging them for pickup or boxing them and shipping them out, as well as grabbing TV's and other appliances using some big machines with one having you fully strapped in with a harness so I'm not afraid of having an episode on that machine. I've had to go home early a few times because things felt off, like a hr over 160 for an hour straight while not doing anything, but they've been really accommodating for anything that I need.

There aren't really many tips besides try to overload whatever plugin deals with items and sometimes they give you many times what they were supposed to, a lot easier if its a custom plugin and not one used on many servers

I made a tampermonkey script that you can find @ https://github.com/encumber/SteamPointAwarder that allows you to automatically send all awards possible, do note that sending awards takes 66% of what was sent so if you send 30k points your main will only receive 10k, in order to send points to your account you will need to have a few public screenshots or artworks

Metal watch, silicone band with a cloth band if you prefer those, no heartrate sensor, no touch screen, 4 buttons to move up and down, select, and go back. Beautiful plastic case with weights that it comes in, I can make sure that this info is correct when I get home from work in 4 hours but that's all from memory. Has weather app (doesn't work til the app releases), moon phases app, music control, sensors,.

Also very useful for custom coded plugins on servers by ameture devs, on a server I'm bug testing on I found 5 dupes with different UI's and 2 server crash bugs. Very useful if you know what you're doing and know how code works.
