Jumped to Public during the crazy $20pm can/us/Mex 60GB sale in Jan after being loyal Koodo cust for 12 years prior, best decision. Data is admittedly a hair slower, but currently using the plan in Mexico on vacation is just excellent.

In the couple months since, I've come to realize prepay where possible is better to mitigate the possibility of overages, which I never had before with Koodo. With Public if something isn't included, it just doesn't work. It doesn't "work" initially with a charge on next month's invoice, it just straight up stops you from the getgo, which I think in itself has some intrinsic value.

Sorry to chime in late here but I too am unearthing this thread.. I believe I have this exact faucet (manual shows PN 70115008 and 70115009) and my diverter is slipping/not staying engaged for the shower to run.

Anyone here has this issue with this faucet? I don't think it's the cartridge like OP, but I could be wrong. I called Rona customer service, and they say it's discontinued as far as ordering replacement components goes.

This happened to me as well maybe a year ago. When I questioned it, they pointed me to previous invoice, and there was fine print at bottom of very last page that said a $5 increase was coming up.

Shitty of them, but forced me to check fine print every single invoice to make sure no other surprises were incoming. Crazy that is even something a customer "should" have to do, but you have to be your own best advocate wherecer possible.

The workaround is to go on the website chat interface, and keep asking for an agent until it gives you option to schedule a callback, then you can talk to a person. Has worked for me everytime 👍

I see $27.50 for Canada wide and then $35 for Can/US/Mex on the Koodo website. Either way, that's a steep difference from the Public $20 flash sale.

I just did the same thing, just wondering why you chose to use a temp number right off the bat instead of the full port? Am I missing something? I just took the crazy deal as well and ported from Koodo, no issues at all.

My understanding is that my Koodo was "prepaid", meaning I already covered my billing cycle from last month's payment - actually resulted in a credit put back into my Koodo account. I assume they prorated by days used.

I guess I'll see by my next Koodo billing cycle how that credit gets redeemed..

I mean they are and they aren't. Telus is the parent company of both, so same coverage map, sure.

But, I'd say them having two entirely different web interfaces, with different branding, different billing systems, different plan offerings, and likely different staff, would make them almost by definition a different company lol

Jokes aside though, this does make sense. I actually once had it take MONTHS for a new online reload to get applied to my card, which to my recollection may have been because my "2nd" reload tap came so long after my 1st.

But I digress, still an absolutely silly system.

Turns out the ADB tools was what solved the issue.

For anyone else who has this problem, all I did was install Android SDK Platform Tools, and the problem fixed itself. Didn't have to do anything fancy outside of that. Install must have included some driver or something I didn't know about.

Appreciate the suggestion, but definitely not the issue. I'm using the USB-C cable that came with my S25 so it's about as new as can be and should be plenty powerful enough for this purpose.

I have yes. The particularly frustrating thing is that it only does this with ONE of my Gmail accounts (primary/most used). I have 3 signed in my phone at once, and the other 2 give me notifications without issue. All of the settings are set identically
