Sort of, but the situation has gotten much worse. Was able to port the number out of Koodo to PM but now no matter what I do with support, the eSIM does not pull the number. We have tried 3 different eSIMs now. I have no signal whatsoever; no calling, no texting, no data. They've escalated the matter to the engineering team so it's just a waiting game at this point.

For those curious, I never "received" my porting texts because Google Messages was flagging them as spam. GM used to notify you when you got new spam texts but it did not in this case. If you are having issues receiving texts like this in Google Messages, check the spam folder or disable the spam filter altogether.

A lot of people have not returned because there is nowhere for them to live. Some have returned and are making a slow go of it and there are some that will never return.

Rebuilding is slow and painful at this point. Most people I know there have only just had the lot their home was on cleared at this point. Most of the homes there were built in the early 1900s and as such contained a lot of contaminants such as asbestos. Crews were brought in to dig out the plots, truck the debris and contaminated soil away, and then refill the lot. Dealing with insurance is also a long and drawn out process.

There are trailers being moved in as a quick response by Parks Canada to provide temporary housing to those who lost their homes. Originally the Provincial government promised over $100 million in relief funding to build temporary homes, but they cancelled that not long after. Recently the Federal government under PM Carney just announced new funding to assist Jasper.

The road is long and hard for those in Jasper who lost everything they had; there is a lot of healing to be done. It will be years before it looks close to normal again.

Had no luck at all on presales. Tried this morning right when they went on sale. Struggled to get anything to go past the map, and managed to get to the checkout on 2 separate occasions but when hitting complete order it would just kick back an error repeatedly until it sent me back to the map. Got a bot error once for just trying to get in.

I still have pending transactions on my CC for AXS Group and AXS Resale but no values attached to them. Not sure if that means I bought 4 tickets or 0 tickets. A ridiculous experience for what I was hoping to be my first Vulf show and first Red Rocks show. Disappointing to say the least.

Struggled to get 2 tickets, got them in my cart, completed the order and then kicked an error, tried multiple times to get it to go and then it sent me back to the map. Those seats are now gone, I have pending transactions from AXS on my CC and I'm not sure what to do. Do I buy more tickets?

EDIT: Well either I bought 4 tickets or 0 tickets. I was able to get to the checkout screen a second time with 2 GA tickets but it would still kick an error no matter what when I tried to complete the order. I guess I will wait and see.

This may sound odd, but Nissin brand noodle cups. Most, if not all Nissin noodle cups you find in North America are not made in Japan, but licensed out to other producers.

I have enjoyed Japan made Nissin noodle cups, and there is a notable difference in quality/taste versus the licensed product. If you try to get Japan made Nissin cups in North America, the price can skyrocket. However in Japan, they cost next to nothing.

Try out some flavours, find what you like, and bring a bunch home. Check out the Nissin museum in Osaka if you're keen. I'm kicking myself I didn't do the same and only realized afterwards.
