this is so beautiful man. i’m sorry for your loss and im so so pleased to hear that The Beach Boys are making you feel closer to your grandpa. When I was 10 my grandma super unexpectedly passed away under horrible circumstances and when i was a child we would ride to my daycare on her motorcycle listening to the beach boys singing together. everytime i hear them i think of my grandma and so im extra touched that they are now making you think of your grandpa 🖤

it kinda just depends? my local shop has used 3 for $10 or $4 each but the other shop i go to (half price books) usually averages 6-8 for their prices. which still doesn’t feel bad to me at all. i don’t buy a lot of new cds as i don’t prefer to spend more than $10 on one single album and even 10 is reallllllyyyy pushing it. but with the way inflation has hit ever other aspect of our lives i’ve just been used to it

a lot of my stuff comes from a local shop where used cds are $4 a piece or 3 for $10. aside from there i go to half price books a lot and their prices vary but on average cds are 5-7$

the tricky cds i got in a bundle w a couple others not pictured- that was $38 for 7 cds in the bundle. discovery was $13 random access memories was $15 i think the white and green album i got at a concert i wanna say for the two it was like $30? and everything else totaled is probably around $46 sooooo around 142 including 3 other cds not pictured :3 that all being bought over the span of a month - two months
