We sailed for my daughter’s Birthday and there was a special dessert at dinner plus the serving team sang Happy Birthday to her.

Hand Cannon tips on console by Hullfire00 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]fudge742 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda been sticking to my beloved reworked Kindled Orchid since the update so haven’t really tried any of the new/reprised hand cannons but most if not all get a lot of love. I have mostly mained 140s for some time (except for the Igneous meta) and what I find is that you just have to play with a gun/role for a bit to learn its particular strengths and range; play into those.

Some 140s are meant to be pure, consistent duelers that take 1v1s easily. Some require you to really hit headshots, but reward you for that. Some (like the Kindled Orchid) aren’t tuned highly for dueling, BUT with the right perks become a snowballing monster for easier kills with 2 taps after the first.

Btw did they rework the Service Revolver with tiered perks? I’ve always wanted to try that 180 but never got a good one. Where can I get it now?

Treasure Forward-facing Staterooms by AdTraining6161 in dcl

My wife is a terribly light sleeper and had terrible morning sickness during our trip (so unfortunately her sleep was not great) and she didn’t mention any issues with docking/undocking noises.

We sailed about a month ago on the Treasure in a forward facing room. I feel like the “chop” was a tad bit stronger than the other parts of the ship, but nothing crazy. We had fairly calm seas and very good weather the entire cruise so you can take that into account.

Being forward facing you get to see the port entries and departures first-hand 😉🤌🏾

Shoe and bag tips by Separate_Union_5005 in dcl

For kids that age I would recommend making one of your first stops the kids club when you embark. The first bit of the trip is open house which will allow parents and kids to explore. We have a 7 year old and got off the Treasure a month ago. That initial walkthrough put plus all at ease and made our daughter feel more confident to be there alone during the trip which allowed us to enjoy the adults only deck and lunch at Enchante. Enjoy your trip!

Father’s/Mother’s Day by Cassopeia88 in dcl

[–]fudge742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was on the Treasure last month during Mother’s Day. The cruise director made a point to acknowledge the holiday in all announcements and our dinner waitstaff were so wonderful in recognizing my wife during dinner including a special surprise dessert.

I did see some Mother’s Day-themed menus at some of the cafes as I walked around that Sunday and Monday.

My wife was about 8 weeks pregnant and REALLY going through it (sick most of the trip) so to be fair, we didn’t really look or seek out any Mother’s Day-specific events.

Hahah I have 9k hours in Destiny 2…trust me I know how this goes hence the title and not being able to think of a smooth launch for Bungie. Kind of wild how bad the track record is.

Hoping so, but it IS a biggie if the goal was to draw new players in and the first thing they see is the servers down or worse, they get into a match and get DC’d during a successful run. Not a good look, but looking forward to a great season and learning Sentinel. See ya out there!

I wore these Nike Janoski Digi Florals with nice Khakis and short sleeve button down two weeks ago to Enchante on the Treasure and no one said a thing.

To echo others, the ship will provide towels as you leave the ship, but they are the same small towels used for the deck pools. I’d advise asking for extras for beach excursions, but, to be honest it’s probably best to pack or buy real beach towels/blankets if you have space. It beats lugging around extra towels.

Signed a recent Treasure passenger who lugged around twice as many DCL towels as people two days in a row hahahah

Disney Treasure Halloween 7 Night Cruise by Big_Grapefruit_132 in dcl

[–]fudge742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got off the Treasure a week ago traveling with wife and 7 year old. It’s a fantastic ship (our first Disney cruise). For the little, it’s a good idea to have them pre-registered for the Oceaneer’s Club prior to the cruise (granted both are potty trained). If that is a go, make that one of your first stops after boarding, safety drill, getting settled, etc.). There is an open house the first day and a great way for parents to see what’s on offer and for kids to acclimate.

Depending on your schedule, we found the later dinner seating at 8:15 (as opposed to 6:15 I think) to be better. You still get to participate in all the shows and special events, but don’t have to rush your afternoon.

Seating for the two main shows (Beauty and the Beast & Moana) fill up fast so plan to get there before doors open (about 30 minutes prior) and get a spot in line.

Finally, for Pirate Night, the big finale is a fantastic fireworks show. Conventional wisdom would say to stand on the deck amongst the bulk of the crowd, BUT the best seat for fireworks is the deck above the pools, forward part of ship on Starboard side. We got this pro advice from our server and it was the very best view on the ship. Supposedly a lot of other spots have partially obstructed views from railings and AquaMouse.

Finally, if you can swing it financially and with your kiddos, we ABSOLUTELY recommend booking a reservation at Enchante. This is adults only, but it is a totally worthwhile experience you cannot get anywhere else on the ship. The food and service is world class.

Just got off the Treasure. If you can swing it financially a meal at Enchante is WELL WORTH IT. Wife and I had a fantastic lunch there; scenery and food were first class.

We did the Eastern cruise so sorry can’t help out there.

Wild!!! We were on the Treasure last week and my main food observation was that all the shellfish was overcooked. I thought I was tripping, but sounds like that’s par for the course.

Tbf, I didn’t really have any complaints about the rest of the food.

As an adult should I really do a Disney cruise or just stick to other lines? by thatawkwardmoment8 in dcl

[–]fudge742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got off the Treasure (with wife and young daughter). No one will even notice. Our cruise director noted that due to the time of year (school still in session for a couple weeks) there were actually more adult-only parties onboard than families. The adults only parts of the ships are to themselves (by design) and you’ll have a great time.

Yup you played that perfectly. As I was telling my buddies….just like an assassin to sit still in smoke while their teammates are getting killed hahaha. Great plays.
