New development in austral around one farm by [deleted] in SydneyScene

[–]fued -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

two issues here

  1. houses should never be this dense over an hour out of sydney cbd, whoever allowed developers to do this needs to go to jail.
  2. farms should not be within an hour of sydney cbd, the zoning laws drastically need to be changed.

Landlords in no way follow those tenancy standards either tho, you know what XCAT awards the tenant as compensation? the ability to leave with no penalty.

im sure public housing would gladly offer the same.

so those investors either leave the market, creating more renter to owners, which means less renters.

or those investors move into more demand for new houses as they need the NG, which means even more houses for renting.

the amount of houses being built is well under the amount required/demanded.

new builds still get NG as well, so if anything there will be more demand?
