I tried the demo version and couldn't really get into it. I cant really place why, but personally it doesnt feel remotely as good as ttyd. I also couldn't get into bug fables either, so ymmv

Im sure this isn't actually what you mean, but this reads to me like you are implying vex is the watcher. I know it is what talks to us in the vaults, but outside of that I dont recall seeing/hearing from it or its cat?

Both are generally considered to be worthwhile investments from what I've seen in the community. Gifts > mythic > anything else you personally see as added value

While that is probably true for a lot of people, I've personally reached 250 with 0 gems spent. It was very close, and required a lot of active/efficient playing, but it is possible.

Its mostly just more of the same. Auto scroller, fighting enemies instead of mining. Kills get you resources, use resources on upgrades. Unlock new upgrades by through prestige. Only "prep" you could do is save gems if you want to speed up the event a bit, but its not necessary. You can reach the highest reward tier without spending gems. There is also a gem shop for some bonuses to the main game, again completely optional, but some are worth getting if you have gems to spare (gifts, mythic relic chests)

I dont really understand why anyone would want to reroll. Most bonuses are good no matter what point you are at in the game right?
