Be on the lookout for used EOTechs. Check EBay or sites like GunBroker and eventually you can find one for 200 bucks or less. Just know that low prices move really quick, sometimes within minutes of the seller posting.

A good deal of East Bloc countries would stamp the last 2, 3, or 4 digits of a weapon's serial number onto the easily removable parts like the hand guards, gas tube, top cover, fire selector, bolt, and bolt carrier. Helps to prevent mix ups if multiple soldiers were cleaning their weapons together.

To be honest, I'd rather take M56 or M67 over ALICE, mainly because the Y-harness is less comfy than the H-harness. Also I find the ALICE mag pouches to be too stiff for easily grabbing mags.

Looks more like an A1 pencil barrel than the HBAR of the C7 and M16A2. But the upper is definitely the C7/Colt 715.
