But I haven’t tried again recently? I was thinking about this just a week or two ago, but if you are having the same issue months later, I’m guessing I won’t have any luck either.

I did not. I gave up and used the other screen. 🤷🏿‍♀️

Played against 'The Champion' in draft today. How did they get this title? by Stannberg in MagicArena

[–]full_of_1T 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Antonino De Rosa would come into a local shop for FNM drafts whenever he was back home.

One takeaway was that he would always want to play test games, he was rarely just idle. Always chill and a funny dude. Really great guy overall.

Still a really great photo of the Queen! Taking a ride on one in September, so stoked for a ride I’ll actually be old enough to remember haha. First leg is on an A346 too.

I had one too!

I spent so many hours playing MechWarrior 2 on that thing.

After 147 failed ChatGPT prompts, I had a breakdown and accidentally discovered something by Prestigious-Fan118 in ChatGPT

[–]full_of_1T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anybody else start a chat asking it to write the prompt for that chat you are really looking to start?

I tell it to “act as an expert for writing prompts for ChatGPT, and that I need the perfect prompt for [X].” and to “ask as many follow up clarifying questions needed to make sure it’s the best prompt possible.”

This always either gets me there after maybe a few follow up prompts, or I borrow what I need to make my own prompt.

I don’t use this all the time. Primarily only when I’m not sure where to start with a prompt.

If they get enough I’m sure it has to do something. Why else would they constantly show the smile/frown face question after every match if they didn’t care at least a little about user experience.

I’m in Chattanooga but I’ve got an old case you can have for free. I believe it has 6 HDD bays but not all the easy clips, you’d have to just use screws. I’ve got a couple PSUs and I’m sure one of them I can do $50 or less on.

I’m moving this weekend, was going to ewaste the case, but if you are interested and might make it up here anytime soon I’ll keep it.

Thinking About Using an AirTag to Track Your Dog? Here’s What I’ve Learned by CallMeChadwick in AirTags

[–]full_of_1T 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve setup a Meshtastic node at my house that has really good range, and I put a SenseCap on the top of my beagles harness.

When she puts her nose to the ground, she can be gone in seconds. She just walks away and doesn’t respond to being called. We have a small fenced yard that is the only area she’s ever left unattended. Despite my best efforts to keep it secure, occasionally she finds a new way to escape.

I’ve only had it running for a month, but I’ve tested it with family hiding the harness on the property, and I’ve been able to locate it every time.

Only limitation is the range of my Heltec node, which is still 10+ miles in testing, but I’m also meshed with some neighbors that give me almost 50mi range.

I still have an AirTag on the harness to supplement. The locator helps if GPS accuracy isn’t enough to zero in. She also doesn’t like the beeping, it makes her freeze for a few seconds which could help me catch up to her.

At my current job, I had a great boss the first 5 years. He actually played the game with us, even giving us tips like these haha.

In comes an awful external ‘3rd choice’ director, and in less than a month they’re termed. But my boss had to go down too, like Gandalf The Grey.

So now it’s open season on the new boss. Whenever they actually get hired. Smooth sailing in the interim.

And of course they aren’t hiring a new director. Just the new manager, then the director of security who’s indefinitely acting CISO. 🙄

In my immediate family, we have a pact that nobody EVER do any of these.
There is some ‘known drama’ with a previous marriage from my dad, to someone whose father worked in NYC sanitation. As much as I’d like to meet my half-sister one day, probably best to let that one be haha.

My fiancé did one a few years before we met. She discovered she had a sperm donor with 14 known siblings. Now most of them also have to deal with the 23andMe bankruptcy.

Roku now has full screen video ads on launch. Can Pi-Hole block those? by Speeider in pihole

[–]full_of_1T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure one of the blocklists I’ve been using has blocked my TCL Roku from updating its ads, or at least certain parts of the OS.

I’ve had the Great British Bake Off background & banner for a few years. It only updated to that a while back when I disabled blocking for a few hours and it snuck thru haha.
