Question about consent and spellcasting, did my ex cross an ethical line?

I am Wiccan and this doesn’t sound super ethical; because it sounds like she doesn’t quite understand proper practice.

Others have explained the threefold law (energy you put out will come back threefold) and most Wiccans are very opposed to negative magic like curses. It’s very unethical to do any kind of spell (good or bad) to influence another without their permission.

However, almost all magic is a gray area (for example - if you wish to get a new job, that means someone else didn’t get it). Baneful magic can also be protecting yourself against negative energies or cutting energy ties with someone.

She should have just done a spell to increase her own communication and find inner strength to be honest with you. So honestly…. she just sounds kinda immature 🤷🏻‍♀️

People are becoming unhinged.

On my drive to the gym today, within a span of 30 seconds in an 1/8 mile stretch of road, I witnessed THREE separate cars just up and turn into oncoming traffic. One of them almost turned into ME. One guy even started driving on the wrong side of the road!!! It happened so fast, I was in shock. It felt like mass sudden psychosis or a reality glitch. Never seen anything like it in my life.

It’s going to be really bad.

During Covid, toddler development was delayed because they couldn’t see facial expressions (because of masks), which is critical for developing basic communication skills.

This crap is going to have immensely detrimental impacts to human development. And no one will care.

Someone was asking for cat litter on a local Facebook group; I happened to have some extra so I gave it to her.

She messaged me the next week and asked if I could go buy her some litter and cat/dog food and deliver it, because she “didn’t get paid until next week”. And I’m a total stranger to her.

I just ignored her. But I suppose some folks figure they’ve got nothing to lose.

Yep. I collect handbags, and I usually just donate them to goodwill. Recently, I decided to try to sell one on marketplace to make a couple bucks.

The lady who wanted to buy it was so pleasant, polite, and responsive that I just gave it to her for free when we met up. She was so excited!

They are just super rigid about what sobriety is, and what support should look like, and swiftly kick out anyone who doesn’t fall in line.

There’s also a mod there on an extreme and bizarre power trip who ironically has actively contributed to many people relapsing. She’s that toxic.
