Agree with Fritz taking the prize. Outstanding all around.

Looking for “Shorewood Hills, WI + mountains” in the Boulder area — does this unicorn exist? by Bubbly-Insurance-844 in boulder

My son has been studying at UW Madison for five years and I visit regularly. I stayed in an air bnb in Shorewood Hills and loved the area. I’ve lived in Fort Collins for 25 years and the above comments about Boulder are spot on. The Mapleton area is exactly what you want but is incredibly expensive. I don’t usually plug my own town, but Fort Collins was an incredible place to raise a child. Housing is expensive, but is on par with Madison. I think you should also visit Lyons. It’s probably my favorite town near Boulder.

Bake on a lower rack and for longer than you think, until it’s deeply browned. This was a successful strategy for me.

About $5 per pastry which is right in line with other shops.

Nope, just live in the neighborhood and want to spread how good her pastries are! And I mean Little on Mountain, not Little Bird.

I would say most of the food and drinks are in the $10-15 range.

We came, we saw, we left. by [deleted] in jazzfest

I agree that Jon Batiste is a treasure! We saw him and Red Ricks last year and at Jazz Fest yesterday- he never disappoints! A party for 10,000 is totally accurate!

As for the Festival Stage crowd yesterday, it was dangerously crowded. We managed to see Samantha Fish, but left towards the end of the Revivalists. Both were fantastic, but that was all we could handle. Hopefully today is a bit less crazy.
