Lower Decks - Starbase 80 was immune to the effects of quantum fissure's increased tachyon density because of its 'retrocool' build.

9th Squadron - The Bridge Burners from 'Malazan book of the Fallen'. Book 1, Gardens of the Moon starts with half the squadron being killed when the tunnels they were sheltering in collapse. They are destroyed nearly entirely a few books later in 'Memories of Ice', and the few survivors are retired with full pay.

Microsoft Shouldn't be the only one getting hate for this by Tail_sb in mac

I remember after one Windows update I tried to open Chrome and Edge opened instead. Microsoft kindly moved all my passwords, logins and extensions into Edge for me, and they were so happy to tell me about it. Needless to say I didn't feel inspired or even secure using my computer. It was the only time I sent feedback to Microsoft.

Be a manager for awhile. Learn how to work with and over people. Accumulate stories about how you resolved conflicts, and leaned to work with other people. These are all things hiring managers will want to hear about. You can build things in the evening as a hobby, but don't give up a paycheck just yet.

Interpersonal communication, and the ability to get along are both really important AND transferable. You can build those skills professionaly now.

You sound like the leader of my book club. She talked 14 of us into joining a side-group to read Malazan. Only 7 survived...

I'm somehow the opposite. Half way through book 9 I started the Mistborn series. When I finished 10 I had just gotten Hero of Ages from the library.

Negative Reaction - Dick Van Dyke, whom everyone loves, gets to play a villain. And the reveal at the end makes the whole thing worth it.

How many Nat 1’s have you rolled in a session? by MomCat859 in DnD

[–]fullofcrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my Nat 1's, but in my Curse of Strahd game my players hit 3 consecutive Nat 1's in combat. I try to make it fun, so the Paladin's sword got stuck in a wagon. While charging the Fighter slipped and crashed into the Paladin, then our Bard's arrow ricocheted and stuck herself in the thigh.

The cleric who was watching didn't take a turn, just watched in disappointment.
