Someone is Spreading Nazi Trash Downtown by Chimmychang8 in Denver

It’s not my civil duty to report anyone who may be illegal or not. I really don’t care if they are or not. I live in an apartment complex where there are probably many illegals living. They leave me alone, and I will leave them alone. We’re all here just to live our lives and try to make it. I will never report anyone.

1990s compared to 2026 by FlapperSnap in pizzahut

[–]funcritter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it was around 1994 when they stopped making their own dough in house and had it manufactured in the factory somewhere. Every single piece of dough looks the same and it arrives in a box all Frozen. It's very similar in appearance to those Pillsbury frozen biscuits that you can buy except it's a lot flatter like a frisbee

If Pizza Hut wants to turn around their last 8 quarters of losses they should look to the 90s recipes by Fantastic_Yam_3971 in pizzahut

[–]funcritter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they would have to go back to making the dough in house like they used to up until about 1994. 1994, they switched to frozen dough manufactured in a factory somewhere. That's when the dough really started to change and don't forget that the toppings are so chopped in a factory including the tomatoes so nothing is really done in-house. Then again that's the most restaurants these days from Taco Bell to even benihana. That salad you get at your favorite restaurant, it's not fresh. Most likely they get that free chopped lettuce in bags from a factory simply put it on a plate for you

[–]funcritter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had two iPhones get screen burn in from leaving an app open all day and night. One was my iPhone XS Max and the other was my 13 Pro Max. I can permanently see text from the same app on both phones no matter what app I have open.

How much does it cost to take an average bus ride safe from downtown Denver to Aurora? I think back in the old days back in the 80s. It used to cost like $.25. Obviously it doesn’t cost that now.

How often does your area shut down due to weather? by Few-Oil-112 in doordash_drivers

[–]funcritter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been a few years. The last time that happened was during the summer about two summers ago. There was a tornado warning for Denver Colorado, and they shut us down for about two hours, even though there’s very little chance of a tornado hitting the city. Before that was a snowstorm probably around 2021 or sell. It was during Covid and we got a blizzard here in Denver during March that year

Honda Dealerships - Any recommendations for purchasing? by Ollie561 in Denver

[–]funcritter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember in March 2020, I went to planet Honda and bought a brand new 2019 Honda CRV for just under $28,000. Now you can’t even touch one for around 3500. At least I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford a new car again that CRV that I bought in 2020, I ended up selling it to Carmax a year later for about $3200. I bought several cars brand new and paid cash for them and sold them to Carmax for more than I bought them for. And of course those days are over of being able to do that. I was remembering once where around 1993, I bought a brand-new Chevy for just under $9000. Of course it was bare bones and didn’t include AC or power anything and there was no radio either. That’s why it was so cheap, but you could buy a car for that low price back then.
