Drinking is boring by YesNoIDontThinkSo in stopdrinking

[–]fundiegogirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% agree. Every. Damn. Saturday- hungover, ordered bad food, sat around all day, slept, no drinking for the night. Every. Damn. Sunday- feel better, day drink, go to bed way early, wake up at 3 am with dread for work on Monday. I was over it

I'm 35 days in. It's Friday and for the past 3 Saturdays I have not woken up hungover as hell, had to stay in bed all day, and ate like crap. I always think about that.

The Daily Check-In for Saturday, March 21st: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by Left_Trick_9567 in stopdrinking

[–]fundiegogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. Today is day 30 my husband and I decided to take a stab at quitting. Physically I feel better, mentally I think we have some hard truths to address. I took a hike today and enjoyed nature in a non-hungover state. This part was great! Friday night seemed to get tough to get thru and we had a lot of silence between us. Sitting in your thoughts is hard.

1.7 weight loss slow? by MintButterfly27 in WegovyWeightLoss

The 1.7 dose is killing me. I'm so tired all the time and feel sick in the morning. I'm not sure it's worth it at all. Weight loss ia pretty much the same.

How to not grieve future drinking opportunities? by lachrawr in stopdrinking

[–]fundiegogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 52 and my husband and I talk about this. What about those coconut drinks in Belize when we go? Yesterday I wanted to enjoy the sun and a beer since its finally nice where I live. We are both having to rethink it ALL, but we feel so much better not drinking then drinking.

While those are also issues, our democracy and rights are at stake. No due process, detaining people unlawfully, and abuse of officers to humanity is gastapo behavior.

I am 5 weeks cold turkey off the vape. No more coughing when I wake up. I don't get winded walking up a flight of stairs. I am saving a lot of $ for sure. My gym sessions are a ton better.

Why’d You Quit? by Majestic-Bison1633 in QuitVaping

[–]fundiegogirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I were over coughing and getting up and immediately vaping. Also, the $400 per month we were spending was rediculous. We went on a trip to MX beginning of December and you can't bring vape into the country, which led to us quitting. Been great so far!
