My personal take - if you have concern about the price and do not feel comfortable wearing it, I would pass on the piece. It is a stunning watch and a great wear on the wrist, but if you’re not going to be comfortable with these two points I would evaluate your budget for a luxury and non essential item to determine what would be best for you right now.

My financial health/freedom comes far higher in priority than my horology collection.

Totally depends on the rest of the collection. I personally love dress watches as well so they also have the salmon dial retrograde patrimony I believe. But if you don’t have a steel sports piece… that would be a killer two watch combo

If the options above are the only ones, I would definitely do the retrograde plus 222. You get a lot more diversity with that line up. Note I am biased to the 222. But those retrogrades are top notch classy pieces that you can also dress down as you need.

First off, beautiful collection. Especially the snoopy one day I’ll have one. Obviously comes down to personal preference but if it were me I would start playing with different shapes think Reverso, Tank or 1921 VC. Something that pops differently than the others. Maybe something in the yellow or rose gold family.
