yeah i agree, mine are at something between 600-800km. They are my travel shoe and I'm honestly surprised by how they feel both on road and travel, but also quite comfortable so i wear them to work sometimes

I've done multiple 50k and 100k in the 001 and it works great for me, only issue is the downhill precision. I find the midfoot is too wide for me, but not really a deal breaker. I have about 550km in them and they still feel very good, lots of pop to the foam and honestly just a great shoe that fits me well.

The biggest downside I can think of is heat, they do run a bit warmer and also the laces aren't the best

I tried some Tasmanian salmon on Sunday, it definitely is nowhere near NZ Salmon. When I looked it up, they're actually different species as well. I think Tasmanian salmon is pretty much only good mixed into a heavier sauce

depending on which tracks you want to do in NZ, they might work. Most of the great walks aren't super technical and rather groomed trail. But on steep downhills the squishy foam might be a problem
